Nope, never been to the football board, since I couldn't give two shits about football.

Everyone flames a little now and then, ESPECIALLY on political boards. Getting all high and mighty about it is asinine. No one puts a gun to anyone's head and MAKES them participate on these forums - we're here because it's fun. :)

I always crack up at the micro-managed political boards who have 'no flame bait' rules, and then the power-tripping mods delete posts, whole threads, publicly 'admonish' people for insults, etc. On a POLITICAL forum. It's a recipe for disaster: message-board cancer.

No such idiocy here - mods here get in and sling shit with the best of 'em, and know when to pull back and let the dust settle. A finely-tuned art. The guys in charge here have it down. It's why the place fucking rocks.
