How the Biden-Harris Administration will transform America and the world

Every American, regardless of gender, race, income, sexual orientation, nationality, or zip code, should have access to affordable, high-quality health care.

Health care is a right for everybody, not a privilege reserved for the wealthy few.

President Biden will reverse the Trump Administration's rule that allows discrimination in health care based on gender identity, sexual orientation, and sex stereotyping. This unconstitutional rule, which was finalized this year, also reverts to a binary definition of sex as being either male or female.

The Trump Administration's rule eliminated many of the nondiscrimination provisions that the Obama Administration had finalized in 2016 in order to implement Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act. Under the Biden-Harris administration, the rules will be revised again and will end up restoring the broad non-discrimination protections that were implemented in 2016.

Why only federal employees?

It should be all employees, but Biden's plan would still be a step up.
Unfortunately, Biden is a pretty standard Moderate. So he's not going to be as left-wing as Fox wants him to be. But I'll definitely take a Moderate over a Fascist who wants to keep people poor and vulnerable.

President Biden will prohibit health care providers from charging patients out-of-network rates when the patient doesn’t have control over which provider the patient sees.

President Biden will address the spiraling cost of prescription drugs by allowing Medicare to negotiate with drug companies.

President Biden will appoint an independent review board to determine the value and fair pricing of drugs, and their recommendations will be used by Medicare and the public option.

President Biden will impose limitations on how much pharmaceutical companies can increase prices, with limits based on the general inflation rate for insurers that participate in Medicare and the public option.

President Biden will allow Americans to legally purchase medications from outside the U.S.A.

President Biden will end the tax deductions that pharmaceutical companies currently receive on their advertising and promotional expenditures.

President Biden will stop the pharmaceutical industry from delaying the introduction of generic drugs to the market after their patents have expired.

President Biden will double federal funding for community health centers, which will help under-served populations that would otherwise have limited access to free health care.

Who's a fascist? Trump? LMFAO Prove it. Bet you never do. You fuckers always fail.

No,...it wont. Quite simply because there is not going to be a Biden administration,....ever.

sez uneducated white trash from flyover country

Joe Biden knows that man-made climate change poses an existential threat, not just to our environment, but to our health, our communities, our security, and our economic well-being.

Joe Biden knows that man-made climate change also damages our communities with storms that wreak havoc.

Joe Biden knows that man-made climate change puts our national security at risk by leading to regional instability that will require U.S military-supported relief activities and could make areas more vulnerable to right-wing terror attacks.

Joe Biden knows there is no greater challenge tham man-made climate change facing our country and our world.

That’s why he is outlining a bold plan – a Clean Energy Revolution – to address this grave threat and lead the world in addressing the climate emergency.

Joe Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face.

It powerfully captures two basic truths, which are at the core of his plan:
(1) the United States urgently needs to embrace greater ambition on an epic scale to meet the scope of this challenge, and
(2) our environment and our economy are completely and totally connected.

As president, Joe Biden will work to enact the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. The battle for the soul for America has many fronts; the right to vote is the most fundamental.

President Biden will fight for automatic and same-day voter registration and implement online voter registration.
The President does not have that authority. Neither does the federal government.
President Biden will direct the U.S. Intelligence Community to report publicly and in a timely manner on any efforts to interfere, or attempts to interfere, with U.S. elections.
So...nothing.
President Biden will direct his Administration to leverage all appropriate instruments of national power and make full use of executive authority to impose substantial and lasting costs on the perpetrators.
So...nothing.
President Biden will reinstate and expand protections for federal employees.
So...nothing.
President Biden will create a public financing system for federal campaigns and instruct Congress to pass a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United.
The President can't instruct Congress to pass a constitutional amendment. Congress cannot pass a constitutional amendment. Only the States can do that. Only the States can change the Constitution.
This law will require all online ads, how they’re targeted, and who paid for them to be posted on a public database on a new one-stop website, ethics.gov — so no one can target voters with misinformation and hate speech.
So...suppression.
On day one of his presidency, President Biden will issue an Executive Order directing that no White House staff or any member of his administration may initiate, encourage, obstruct, or otherwise improperly influence specific DOJ investigations or prosecutions for any reason;
He does not have that authority. That is violation of the 1st amendment.
and he will pledge to terminate anyone who tries to do so.
And he will be in violation of the Constitution of the United States to do so.
President Biden will establish a Commission on Federal Ethics to more effectively enforce the order.
The order is not lawful.
The office will have broad investigative and civil enforcement authority, expanding on powers now held by the FEC, OGE, and the Office of Special Counsel.
Not lawful. See the 1st amendment.
The Biden Administration will incentivize states to automatically restore voting rights for individuals convicted of felonies once they have served their sentences.
The President doesn't have that authority.
President Biden will rein in Executive Branch financial conflicts of interest, and extend this standard to U.S. House and Senate members.
So...nothing. Biden, of all people, caught in one scandal after another, is going to be in charge of ethics????
President Biden will support statehood for the District of Columbia.
That will get nowhere. That requires a constitutional amendment. Only the States may amend the Constitution.

As president, Joe Biden will lead the world to address the climate emergency and lead through the power of example, by ensuring the U.S. achieves a 100% clean energy economy and net-zero emissions no later than 2050.

The Biden Plan will:

Ensure the U.S. achieves a 100% clean energy economy and reaches net-zero emissions no later than 2050.

On day one, President Biden will sign a series of new executive orders with unprecedented reach that go well beyond the Obama-Biden Administration platform and put us on the right track.
President Biden will demand that Congress enacts legislation in the first year of his presidency that:
1) establishes an enforcement mechanism that includes milestone targets no later than the end of his first term in 2025,
2) makes a historic investment in clean energy and climate research and innovation,
3) incentivizes the rapid deployment of clean energy innovations across the economy, especially in communities most impacted by climate change.

you're certainly putting a lot into your trolling. is anyone reading your posts?

President Biden will build a stronger, more resilient America.

On day one, President Biden will make smart infrastructure investments to rebuild the nation and to ensure that our buildings, water, transportation, and energy infrastructure can withstand the impacts of climate change.

Every dollar spent toward rebuilding our roads, bridges, buildings, the electric grid, and our water infrastructure will be used to prevent, reduce, and withstand man-made climate change.

As our President, Joe Biden will use the convening power of government to boost climate resilience efforts by developing regional climate resilience plans, in partnership with local universities and national labs, for local access to the most relevant science, data, information, tools, and training.

President Biden will rally the rest of the world to meet the threat of man-made climate change.

Man-made climate change is a proven global challenge that requires decisive action from every country around the world.

Joe Biden knows how to stand with America’s allies, stand up to adversaries, and level with any world leader about what must be done.

As our president, Joe Biden will not only recommit the United States to the Paris Agreement on climate change, he will go much further than that.

He will lead an effort to get every major country to ramp up the ambition of their domestic climate targets.

He will make sure those commitments are transparent and enforceable, and stop countries from cheating by using America’s economic leverage and power of example.

He will fully integrate the reduction of man-made climate change into our foreign policy and national security strategies, as well as our approach to trade.

President Biden will stand up to abuse by polluters who disproportionately harm communities of color and low-income communities.

Vulnerable communities are disproportionately impacted by the man-made climate emergency and pollution.

The Biden-Harris Administration will take action against fossil fuel companies and other polluters who put profits over people and knowingly harm our environment and poison our communities’ air, land, and water, or conceal information regarding potential environmental and health risks.

The Biden plan will ensure that communities across the country will have access to pure, clean, safe drinking water, and he’ll make sure the development of solutions is an inclusive, community-driven process.

As our president, Joe Biden will fulfill our obligations to the workers and communities who powered our industrial revolution and subsequent decades of economic growth.

President Biden is not going to leave any workers or communities behind.

Joe Biden has never taken contributions from oil, gas and coal corporations or executives.

The Biden plan will make a historic investment in our clean energy future and environmental justice, paid for by rolling back the Trump tax cuts that enriched corporations at the expense of American jobs and the environment.

President Biden’s climate and environmental justice proposal will make a federal investment of $1.7 trillion over the next ten years, leveraging additional private sector and state and local investments to total to more than $5 trillion.

President Trump’s tax cut led to trillions in stock buybacks and created new incentives to shift profits abroad.

Joe Biden will invest in a Clean Energy Revolution that creates jobs here at home.

The Biden plan will be paid for by reversing the excesses of the Trump tax cuts for corporations and the rich, reducing incentives for tax havens, evasion, and outsourcing, ensuring corporations pay their fair share, closing other loopholes in our tax code that reward wealth, and ending subsidies for fossil fuels.

Joe Biden has long appreciated the enormity of climate change and has always believed that we have a moral and economic imperative to address it.

In 1986, he introduced one of the first-ever climate bills in Congress. Politifact recently called him a “climate change pioneer” and dubbed his early leadership “a watershed moment.”

As Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, he organized several hearings on climate change and rallied support on a number of nonbinding resolutions on the issue, in an attempt to build momentum for action to address global climate change.

In 1998, he was a key champion for the Tropical Forest Conservation Act, which allowed the U.S. to reach agreements with foreign governments to conserve tropical forests in exchange for debt relief (commonly referred to as debt-for-nature swaps).

In 2006, Senator Biden took executives from BP and Chevron to task for the subsidies going to the oil industry.

As Vice President, he oversaw the Recovery Act, the largest single investment in clean energy in U.S. history.

The Obama-Biden Administration placed historic limits on carbon pollution, doubled fuel economy standards for cars and trucks, unleashed the potential of renewable, clean energy, and rallied the world to achieve the groundbreaking Paris Climate Accords.

Joe Biden also understands that the movement towards a cleaner future comes from all of us. At a recent speech at the United States Conference of Mayors, he applauded efforts cities and states have taken on their own as the federal government has been absent for the last three years.

President Biden will protect access to the ballot by limiting states’ ability to remove voters from the rolls through purging, caging, or interstate cross-checks; and prohibit the use of false information to discourage voting.
So...nothing.
President Biden will implement automatic voter pre-registration for 16- and 17-year-olds.
The President doesn't have that authority. He cannot change the Constitution.
President Biden will require all employers to grant paid time off for voting during early voting periods or on Election Day.
The President doesn't have that authority either.
President Biden will reauthorize and fully fund the Election Assistance Commission and require it to develop best practices for states to prevent and deter voting rights violations and model training programs and grants for poll worker recruitment.
So...nothing.
