Well, it sort of does. It illustrates that you think that the mentally ill are competent enough to "choose" to live homeless in the streets... guess that's a wonderful rationalization for saying....I don't give a fuck.

That was the reason for busting up labor unions and offshoring, wasn't it?

If you're not supporting forced treatment, then how do you propose that the mentally ill be made to take their medication?

By the way; the ACLU (Anti Causasion Liberties Union) filed suit and the Supreme Court agreed that you can't force the mentally ill to take their meds or to be hospitalized, unless it can be shown that they are a danger to themself or others and even then it's a narrow guideline.
2. It only seems that way; because it destroys your entire premise.
