How the Nomination will play out!

Not if it's a brokered convention. You can forget about Rubio if that happens.

I was going by what I think will happen if Romney pulls out 1144 delegates before the convention. I'm almost hoping for a brokered convention just for the sheer intellectual interest it would drive for me. If I were selfish I would be cheering for it.

Palin absolutely wouldn't get the nod though. That's just pipe dream nonsense.

you can't be serious.

look i love the guy but to 90% of the nation he's a nutbag
He's a serious consideration if it boils down to a brokered convention. You are fight. Paul is a guy with a few very, very good ideas and a whole hell of a lot of very, very bad ideas. Wouldn't matter in a brokered convetion. Paul has the libertarian constituency. In a brokered convention the Libertarian coalition and a substantial number of Tea Baggers would throw it's weight behind Romney with Paul as his VP. I'm pretty sure the Tea Bag and Libertarian coalition would be thrilled with that and it would be strong enough of a ruling coalition to overcome the southern/social conservative faction. Maybe you have noticed, but Paul has geared most of his criticism of his competitors towards Santorum and Gingrich. So if a brokered convetion were to occur a Romney/Paul ticket wouldn't suprise me at all.

It would scare the hell out of me but it wouldn't surprize me. Having Rom Paul a heart beat away from the Presidency is not a thought that would make me sleep well at night.

on moderates and independents? yes he does. he's crushing with moderates in the republican primaries, and he WON FUCKING MASSACHUSETTS as governor. Why this goes over peoples heads I'll never understand. Romney has very broad appeal.
They have blinders on dude. I can tell you haven't spent much time in the South Grind. Living in the south is big part of what made me switch party affiliations. They honestly to god believe that a right of center Republican like Romney is a closet liberal communist. I used to joke about myself when I lived in the Carolinas. "What do they call a moderate Republican from Ohio in the south? A GOD DAMNED COMMIE!"

That experience went a long way toward alienating me from the Republican party. Man I thought the NE Establishment Corporate Patrician type Republicans were bad enough (and they are) but they're not the authoritarian Nazi's these southern conservatives are.

i want to punch these girls in the fucking face HOLY SHITTTTTT this is making me pull my hair out
Jesus Grind. You can be such a Prole at times. If you had any brains you'd go meet these pretty young ladies. Tell them how much you love Jesus, the Bill of Rights and Rick and how much you hate abortion and then jump in the sack with them and get your freak on, tell them more lies and then go vote for Obama! :)

If Romney picked Paul, it would be WORSE than McCain picking Palin! Ron Paul has tainted himself with the anti-war rhetoric, and I don't think he ever comes back from that. A much more believable scenario is Romney picking Santorum, in a kind of "come together" moment, like Reagan and Bush. I can honestly see that happening, realistically. Ron Paul? Never gonna happen!

never say never.....though I think there are half a dozen more likely prospects.......I think Pawlenty could deliver Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin for example or Christy for New Jersey.....

People should keep in mind that Paul delegates will prefer Romney over Santorum, and will likely throw a bunch of their votes his way if there's danger of Santorum winning.
