How the Trump era is changing the federal bureaucracy

Yep. I think the environment is important and must be defended. You think cutting back on cleanup and regulation is reasonable. Trump should please you with his plans. However you are assuming we have too much EPA protections and cutting back would be harmless. I think we don't have enough, since we get only one environment. The wealthy have been forcing cutbacks for a long time.Corporations have fought any and all environmental regulation. The people are not winning. This what you want? https://www.snopes.com/2017/02/06/dump-coal-waste-into-streams/

1) you are assuming every regulation is a good regulation

2) you continue to assume people want zero regulations

That's just a weak strawman.

Again, the vast majority of sites that get cleaned up are with private money.

The biggest problem with the EPA is delays and the outright arbitrary nature of permitting.

Not arbitrary. The laws are plain and clear. They protect the environment from corporations. You can suck up to the plutocrats all you want and parrot their bullshit beliefs, however the difference in America since Nixon started the EPA is clear and obvious. Plenty of evidence showing what corporations will do and are doing. The EPA helps the people. Corporations don't want the cost of being cleaner. They fight it and claim it is job killing and just so unfair to them. Corporation profits are at all time highs. Yeah, they are being crippled. They just want more and more. They will fight against the EPA as hard as they can using politics and the press. People like you will believe them.

You obviously have never worked in the industry.
