How The United States Can Start Winning Wars Again

I think the idea is to NOT be at war.

Ever notice that the people that die are mostly the Working Class?
Ever notice that those that profit the most are the Ownership Class?

We should have a standing military large enough to wage a war temporarily. The way we decide to go to war should be a lot like an individual deciding to use deadly force. When the country is threated with bodily harm or death from an enemy the standing military engages the enemy. The rest of the country refocuses the economy to the war. The country pulls out all the stops, goes balls to the wall, drafts and trains military as quickly as possible, makes weapons and gears up like WWII. All possible assets are poured into complete and total destruction of the enemy. Then we go home, hang up the pack, mothball the rifles and get back to practicing peace. Leaving a completely annihilated and devastated enemy for other wanna be enemies to think about what attacking the USA means.

What we do now just funds the military industrial complex.

I agree that not being in war is the best. However, if the circumstances arise to where we are, we should at least fight it with the attitude of winning rather than the attitude of not losing.

Ever notice that since the draft is no longer in effect the military is a volunteer based organization? No one forced what you call the working class to join. They chose to do so.

If, when we fight, we should fight it to the level that the next time someone thinks about going against us, they think twice knowing what will happen to them. If we're going to have the best military in the world, we should fight like it. The two NBA teams in the finals don't play their reserve players most of the game. They play their best who try their best in order to win.

War is not a game, nobody gets killed in the NBA, and your vision of harms way is straight out of a John Wayne movie

They can begin by removing the politicians hands from the back belt loops of our Military.

Let them do what the Military is trained for.

The Military is trained to KICK ASS and take names.

The Politicians can come in afterwards and negotiate peace with the survivors.

Don't like it - TOUGH SHIT.

:truestory:

And I always thought War was just another means of diplomacy, didn't know it was a Chuck Norris video

Then, when we fight, we shouldn't let softies like you dictate how we fight. If you kick the asses of those you fight to a level that catch the attention of others, those others will think twice about coming at you because they don't want their asses kicked the same way.

No one said anyone died in the NBA but they do play to win and put up their best. How is that any different than winning a war.

Add in a draft versus a volunteer military. Deferments almost impossible. Then the elite will have second thoughts about waging war when one of their own goes.

This. Right here.

For beginners, people do die in war, and we "kicked the ass" of Iraq and the radical elements in Iraq three times and they are still a nuisance today, guess that didn't deliver the ends you think war provides

And war, as I tried to explain above, is just another an extension of diplomacy, it isn't about "kicking ass," that's teenage logic, it has to serve an ultimate purpose that advances the interests of our own Nation

War is about money. https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Smedley_Butler It is a racket that makes money for the few and spend lives to make it.

Winning Wars. Lock up Trump and his gang, the NRA leaders plus the Aipac leaders and end the gerrymandering so you get a country beginning to be worth fighting for.
