How to Prevent Vehicle Theft in the USA

One of the vehicles I learned to drive in was my grandfather's International pickup. Only "three on the tree" I ever drove.

I used to drive a truck with three on the tree...

:D

I used to own a 67 Camaro that had an inline 6 and 3 on the tree.
Wish I still had it.
I've owned several trucks, 3 Corvairs, and a couple of other cars that were either floor or tree shifts.

At one time I had a 1950 Chevy Panel truck, that someone had put a lift kit in. It had a granny gear 4 speed. Could climb a hill, like a freaking billy goat.

Are they more common elsewhere? I just don't like to have one more thing to think about while I'm driving, and I don't need the extra performance from a manual.

this is exactly it. I learned on manual myself, but I literally am such a lazy motherfucker. I know some people get used to it eventually and it just becomes second nature, but for me it always felt like I had to pay attention to an extra thing, which I dont like doing, so I went to auto
