Just a reminder of what Dump and company were doing during the California fires. Kudos to Mr. Lieu for speaking truth to power:

What? That guy was on a rant.Just a reminder of what Dump and company were doing during the California fires. Kudos to Mr. Lieu for speaking truth to power:

What? That guy was on a rant.
He starts off with an irrelevant appeal to authority fallacy and then launches into a series of non sequiturs attacking whoever he's talking to. The guy's line of reasoning was basically irrelevant up his demanding people in California affected by those wildfires get "unconditional help." Lieu never in that video gets to any actual factual point that follows to any sort of conclusion. It's just a string of non sequiturs.
You're projecting again, T.A. Your revisionist rant borders on drunken delusion given what was asked, answered and then explained. Any fool who has access to a newspaper, television or radio and listens to sources outside of Murdoch media or Maga megaphones knows what Leiu says is true. What? That guy was on a rant.

It's only a "rant" when a (D) does it, esp. if he/she speaks truth. Otherwise, it's "a strong forceful speech."

Then let's go through this again. You're projecting again, T.A. Your revisionist rant borders on drunken delusion given what was asked, answered and then explained. Any fool who has access to a newspaper, television or radio and listens to sources outside of Murdoch media or Maga megaphones knows what Leiu says is true.
Willfully ignorant parrots like yourself NEVER do honest, objective fact check on a subject. So as hope springs eternal, I'll do your homework for you and present valid, documented evidence that is general knowledge of that Leiu couches his statements to:
www.theweathernetwork.com/en/news/science/explainers/how-santa-ana-winds-fuelled-the-deadly-fires-in-southern-california
You have bad habit of wasting time and effort to elaborate on your supposition and conjecture in order to try and make it as valid as a fact. Then let's go through this again.
Lieu starts off asking the witnesses if they are firefighters. This an irrelevant appeal to authority fallacy. Then he uses the same appeal to authority to say the fires and their scope, spread, and intensity were due to a single cause, the high Santa Ana wind speeds. This is cherry picking. He then makes a fallacy fallacy in claiming that the humidity was the "lowest in California history." If we go by annual rainfall, that would be 2013.
Average Precipitation in California by Year
www.extremeweatherwatch.com
In 2024 California got above average rainfall of 26.1 inches. Instead of low humidity, it is far more likely that heavy brush load, inability to clear brush and other mitigation efforts, due in good part to laws, regulations, and the California Coastal Commission led to conditions that exacerbated the fire and its spread.
He then uses a non sequitur in saying that it wasn't regulations or some other thing the state or local government did or didn't do (he gives an oblique list of these) had nothing to do with the fire. This amounts to a fallacy fallacy in and of itself. That is, his conclusion is drawn from an existing fallacy.
He then launches into an appeal to pity to demand unequivocal disaster relief for victims of these fires. From there he circles around to implying that California climate change policy had nothing to do with the fires which is also clearly fallacious.
So, go ahead, defend Lieu's rant.
Talk about complete stupidity, that fool is one of the dumbest assholes in all of Congress, well he does have a lot of company. You morons are completely blind to the fraud and theft the libtards are doing daily even after it's completely exposed. Now again you're not understanding how water helps reduce fire damage and can even put fires out. Can you say SIMPLETONS.Just a reminder of what Dump and company were doing during the California fires. Kudos to Mr. Lieu for speaking truth to power:

Show your work. What lefty theft was exposed?Talk about complete stupidity, that fool is one of the dumbest assholes in all of Congress, well he does have a lot of company. Libtards have run things into the ground in LA and when it burned to the ground so many things were not ready, hundreds of trucks were out of service, reservoirs were empty, money sucked from the residents wallets to build more reservoirs just disappears and not one was built, hydrants didn't work, Mayor was out of country partying, but don't worry, DEI was well funded.
Yet, you create this moronic post as if anyone complaining is out of line. What an absolute dipshit.
What a complete asshole, the budget wasn't there, huh. I wonder if the massive increases in salaries and a ridiculous fraudulent DEI budget might have fixed a few trucks. And rain fills the reservoirs, how smart are you? Huh, rain is one way, very good.Show your work. What lefty theft was exposed?
Trucks were out of service because the budget was not there. However if you ever saw a fire being fought ,there are multiple fire trucks at them. That is at every house. With the area and number of homes destroyed, you can see the trucks were not going to save anything. The reservoirs are filled by rain. How many hydrants did they need? Maybe millions? None of your crying was relevant. None of it would have changed a thing.
Make sure your reality isn't as incomplete as those you target as inaccurate to truth to power.Just a reminder of what Dump and company were doing during the California fires. Kudos to Mr. Lieu for speaking truth to power:
