That is what I do. If it has a huge drop or jump I will read the story, but even then not very involved. There was a time when the market was predictor of the future economy. Now it is decoupled from that. Whatever the market does means nothing to the bottom 80 percent.

Ummmm it had an unprecedented run in the face of challenging macro environment. It was due for a correction.

Also uncertainty of election

And September/October is historically a volatile time.

If you understood the market you would have had a few short positions poised to go like I did ready to take advantage of the decline instead of trying to score cheap political points on a topic you clearly don’t understand

I dont spin it, I play it. I like dividends, so I buy more shares of dividend stocks when the price goes down. When the market goes up, I build up dry powder.

I voted for him because I didn't want McCain. He was the Democratic nominee. I never vote in primaries, so I didn't choose him. Regardless, he is an intelligent and wise man who knew how to lead.
