my costs went up upon the passage of ACA, so knowing my costs were just going to keep increasing I hadn't noticed any specific jump due to changes by trump. is there a list of the things they changed?
 
The ACA saved my family. My wife got leukemia and her hospital visits and extremely expensive medicines would have killed us. One medicine, out of her many, Gleevec costs 140 K a year in the US. Got a million in the bank? In 9 years, Novartis has it. We need universal healthcare. You have no guarantee you or a family member will not get a life destroying illness. You can get in an accident. Shit happens. The majority of bankruptcies in America are due to illness and most of them have coverage.
 
BTW ... if anyone tell you they're getting Better Healthcare at a reduced cost ... make them prove it or they're a Lying sack of shit.

Your family's concerns aren't anyone else's responsibility to fund.

When you say "it would have killed us", you lie. With all the bleeding heart Liberals around that claim to care so much for people in your situation, surely you could have found thousands upon thousands of them that would have voluntarily paid your bills proving they truly care.
 
A healthcare system is complicated, who knew. But one thing that is simple, we pay for every one in this country's healthcare on way or the other. The conservatives just want to do it in the least efficient, most expensive and most profitable way possible.

It's not that complicated. Anyone for which you claim to care when it comes to healthcare is someone for which YOU can fund it on their behalf.

There's an easy way to not pay for everyone's healthcare. Send bleeding hearts like you the bill for someone that can't pay. If you aren't personally willing to do so, tough shit.

Then you should agree that stupid shit like that should stop and if they can't pay, find someone that will pay on their behalf or let them do without.
 
I agree we have two options, come up with a efficient science based healthcare system or treat people till they run out of cash, then push them out the hospital doors. Literally. You are probably ok with that. Normal people aren't.

You keep saying efficient science based healthcare system yet don't say what it is. Are they mere words or do you have any substance to offer?

It's easy. You pay, someone pays on your behalf, or you do without. Can't get any more science based than that.
