How's those Healthcare Cost going 4-Yea Trumsters ... ?

As I said, he could only get it through the exchanges or his employer. Or he's on government health care like medicaid and is lying about it.

I went on Medicare in 2016 when I reached the age of 65.......I paid for my own insurance through BC/BS until my plan was cancelled because it did not reach the standards set by Obamacare (it did not provide maternity coverage for my 64 year old wife)......my $675 per month with a $5000 deductible plan was replaced by a Priority Health Plan at the cost of $1365 per month with a $6400 deductible......I paid for that insurance myself.......I also paid taxes so you could get cheaper insurance.......

now I am on Medicare and this year I started Social Security....after deductions for my insurance you send me $2100 a month and you send my wife an additional $1200......for that reason alone I forgive you for being a worthless sack of shit.......just keep the money coming.......

Well, he doesn't provide details or verification, so we are left to guess. That's deliberate on his part.

I am sorry I didn't send you a copy of my insurance bill, my income taxes and the wiring instructions for my bank accounts.......you are right.......it was all deliberate......meanwhile I don't give a fuck if some guy who's been here a week and made 206 posts believes me or not......

Secondary medical? What about your primary?

Your the one who says medical insurance premiums keep going up so I just thought I'd throw that in.. Not to mention medical insurance premiums are not considered when referring to oope, as bad as you want it to. Sorry sport you're wrong no matter how you try to spin it.

Moocher.

Of course you might not need it, but someone else who enrolls in the same insurance plan might. By making that a mandatory part of the coverage, you attract younger, healthier people to your insurance plan, which results in keeping your costs low. When you start excluding people, that's what causes insurance premiums to rise. But you're on government health care now.

First of all, it wasn't replaced. You had the ability to go on the exchanges and find a different plan. That would require you to act like an adult, which it appears gives you trouble. Your insurance company didn't unilaterally replace your previous plan with that one; you made the choice to do that. So why did you select a plan that was so much more money? Why didn't you go on the exchanges and find a cheaper, better plan suited to your needs? This is specifically why I think your claim is bullshit - your plan wasn't "replaced", you deliberately selected that new plan. So why did you select that plan, knowing it was more expensive? Because you didn't, and this story you're concocting is bullshit....isn't it?

Secondly, no one believes for a second that you make enough money to not qualify for a subsidy. No one also believes for a second that you have your own business. Secondly, even if you did have your own business, the rules for Obamacare don't apply to you, and you continue to buy your own insurance through your SHOP exchanges. Your story has quite a few plotholes to it that render the rest of your argument contradictory; you say you are self-employed...what does that mean for you because that's a vague term? Does it mean you are self-employed via your own business? Are you an independent contractor? Or are you just making all this shit up to try and conflate things so you don't have to answer truthfully? You also only pay taxes for Obamacare if you make over $1M a year as an individual. And no one here believes your shitty little "self-employed" home business nets you $1M a year in profit.

So you're making shit up just to prove a shitty point on a message board.

That desperation indicates some serious insecurities and pathologies.

Thing is, your entire argument hinges on me believing you. If you are not to be believed, then what is left of your argument? Nothing.

You people lean on unverifiable personal anecdotes to carry your shitty arguments, and that train is now off the tracks because we know your playbook.

What is a "secondary" insurance, and what about your primary insurance? You keep avoiding that. It's obvious why.

So as a "self-employed" person, do you get your health insurance as an individual or via the SHOP exchanges?

I went to the "exchange" to find a list of companies selling insurance in Michigan.....after determining I did not qualify for a subsidy I contacted one of the three that were available on our side of the state and started the process.

you really want to go there?.......I paid into SS all my life and may, if I live to be 80 or so, will get all of it back......meanwhile I am still subsidizing your insurance......

and yet my rates doubled when they were included........not when they were excluded.......so much for the validity of your argument.....

dude.....if it was a different plan it was in fact replaced....

???.....I chose the cheapest plan......it was twice what I had been paying......my plan had to be replaced because it no longer existed.......are you deliberately ignoring what I have already posted?.....

Secondly, no one believes for a second that you make enough money to not qualify for a subsidy. No one also believes for a second that you have your own business. Secondly, even if you did have your own business, the rules for Obamacare don't apply to you, and you continue to buy your own insurance through your SHOP exchanges. /boggle......so many things wrong......first, why do you think that people who earn less than a million dollars do not pay taxes.......

second, yes, if you are self employed you buy your own insurance......but all insurance sold in the US MUST meet the requirements of Obamacare.......it the plan you had did not, it was eliminated.....the rules of Obama care apply to everyone......

third, "no one" believes I don't make enough money not to qualify for a subsidy and "no one" believes I have my own business?......and you base this upon your six days of experience here.......you're a clueless bastard, aren't you......what does it mean to me to be self employed?........for me it means that since January, 1980 I have not received a pay check, I have been responsible (and paid) all my bills.......and I got to keep what was left over.......what does it mean for you?......

The cost of health insurance in America has always outstripped inflation. The copays go up and the coverage gets smaller. When those who profit off it ,run it, it will not hold down costs or improve care. Our healthcare system is fundamentally flawed. Obama made a step to solving it, but the Repubs and healthcare and insurance companies spent a ton trying to destroy the ACA. You rightys are happy to return to the system the rest of the industrial world recognizes as a mess of corruption and theft.
