Okay, here's what I originally wrote:

You don't act like assholes to defeat assholes......don't "crash" the teabaggers meetings, just infiltrate and accurately report on them....then publish the findings to counter the MSM propaganda releases.

This means you do what is called "investigative reporting"....NOWHERE in what I wrote comes close to the purposely distorted lie you're trying to put forth. Bottom line Yurtle, you just another lame ass wanna be propagandist for the PNAC agenda and all it's vile off spring (teabaggers, neocons, birthers, etc.). You don't even recognize when someone is in agreement with you...advocating AGAINST smear tactics.

The truth shall set you free...try it sometimes.

then later

Quote:
Actually, it's accurate reporting

:palm:

Grow up Yurtle...your childish little game of out of context quotes and snippets DOESN'T WORK WHEN THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENT EXISTS TO PROVE WHAT A COWARD AND LIAR YOU ARE.

the full quote, ladies and gentlemen:

Actually, it's accurate reporting using the very actions and words of various teabagging spokespeople and/or individuals involved....can't blame the reporter for the message.

I leave you to just parrot your BS in various forms until doomsday....so much more to pity you.

the full quote does not at all change what i quoted you said....nice try, but thoroughly dishonest

Stop and think....what has been a major thorn in the side of the neocons, teabaggers, birthers and their ilk? THE TRUTH. Media Matters drives them nuts because they can document just what a bunch of liars the forementioned are.

The nano-second you start using the enemies tactics in ALL it's vile forms, you are no better than them. There is only one truth in any situation....and it's a time tested formidable weapon.

Only one truth, only one reality? You haven't watched enough faux. The 'truth' has been spoon fed to teabaggers for years by Fox. Even when their jobs went away they still support the people/party/ideology that did it to them! IMO they are being manipulated and I can't understand why they can't see it. You are right, when you confront them with the truth they are made to look stupid but you haven't changed their minds.

or maybe I'm just vindictive

:palm: See folks...the guy is either a moron or just insipidly stubborn clown. He actually is stating that his out of context excerpt is the same as the full quote. Obviously, he slept through English Composition in 8th grade.

Well folks, when the neocon numbskulls deteriorate to this level, there's no point in indulging them further. Into the IA bin with Yurtle the turtle.

Going forward do you believe protectionism or something else government promoted is going to bring back the manufactoring jobs which made up a decent part of the workforce back in the day but has sense been shipped overseas for the most part?

What's going to take us back to the '70's or prior economically?

I believe it's got to be bottom up. No more trickle down. We've seen what that and the global Nafta/gatt insane trade policies has done to us. Time to start protecting American labor again and not making it compete with slave labor in Asia. Whatever progressive, radical liberal, communist, socialist, end of the corporate rule actions that would take. The supreme court just opened the door for huge amounts of right wing propaganda money to influence the vote so you gotta realize that labor in this country is at war. imo

FDR called them the Economic Royalty and he was right.

We are obviously in a gobalized (sp) economy now there's no changing that. And America has moved from a more manufactoring economy to a more financial and services oriented economy.

So what does it take to go back in time? We have a lot more U.S. companies that have gone global in the past 20 years including the company I worked for for 15 years until I just recently got laid off. We were founded in SF in 1908 and in the late '90's bought an European/Asian based commercial real estate firm to make our company global and the largest commercial real estate firm in the country. My company's story is not unique. It's what we had to do to compete in a global market where our clients want services in places other than just the U.S.

I don't see how we go backwards to what we once were.

Sorry to hear that. I've been laid off before too and it sucks. I think the 70's were a product of the 50s-60s just like today is a product of the last 20 yrs. I hate to tell ya but there were liberal rules in place at that time that enabled people to work for decent wages and to have some stability.

Thanks, it happens. I am certainly no expert on all that went down economically in all the prior decades but taking 'yesterdays' laws and trying to place them in our new economy wouldn't fit or work. Things and times have changed.

I'm attempting to do investment work right now for the Taft-Hartley funds. One of the things they told me was the unions were spending lots of money trying to train their workers on how to build new green technology. That's an example to me of the workers or unions trying to step and provide services that are desired today. Smart thinking.

I don't think it's yesterdays laws, i think it's laws that help labor. Tariffs on imports and incentives to manufacture wind, solar, nuke, r&d on new energy-what ever. Maybe even start making steel again in this country.

I really like Thom Hartmann... he puts it this way. If it costs a dollar to make a pair of shoes in the U.S. and it costs a dime to make the same shoes in China there should be a 90cent tariff on Chinese shoes when they come into this country. If there is a product that we do not produce in this country it has no tariff.
I think this would help a lot. It used to be the norm.
