Why do people still try to defend Trump?

It's mystifying. He has a long history of corruption, and ruining people's lives. Reputations and careers have been destroyed, and many are even in jail now. He was an abysmal President, and factually the worst jobs President in modern American history.

He's really the worst of us, in every aspect. Why continue to go to the mat for him?

Want the truth? You are a right winger who believes evil against the Bidens, because you want to. Hunter's case is over. It went as expected. He made a mess for a while due to a drug problem. He was able to pay his back taxes. That resolves almost all tax problems. The gun problem was not a huge deal. He had the gun for 10 days. You want him in Gitmo and tortured to turn on his father, who has never had a scent of corruption in his 50-year political career. Your premises are useless.

As if their treatment by the justice department is comparable. Trump had a surprise rad of his home. Hunter was given a heads up and his storage unit search was thwarted.

There is also an allegation that Wolf gave Hunter’s legal team a “heads-up” that investigators were moving to search his Northern Virginia storage unit and that Wolf again objected to the effort to secure a search warrant.

It is so good to have Trump and his family be the exemplars. So far beyond even a question of criminality with any of them and his health being such that no prior POTUS even comes close to his health levels.
