Extremism is self-blinding since it limits one's options. Extremism turns a polychromatic world into a monochromatic world. They are only see the world in Black & White. My way or the highway. You're either with us or against us. They are unable to see the world is more complex than their views allow.

There are political extremists on both sides. The current political extremists are in charge of all three branches of our government and that's a very dangerous scenario for a Republic and preserving our Constitution.
