Destruction?

Why do you insist on showing us how fuckin' stupid you are.....
You think only conservatives are concern about terrorism....?
How about the cops searching the lake?
Think Obama isn't concerned ? How about Hillary ? Both seem to have alot to say about the subject lately.
Being concerned about terrorism is one thing, and I agree the police should be turning over every stone to investigate this crime and anyone associated with it. That's not fear, that's smart.
That's not the same as acting out of fear and jumping to redivulous conclusions, supporting xenophobia, and jumping on the bandwagon of a silly man just because he talks tough.

10,000 get killed annually by gun nuts!
14 is not a blip
We did thousands of bombing runs in retaliation
So the kill ratio is prob over 1,000 Isis dead for every American
You have trouble with comprehension in general don't you?
Even simple concepts such as the results of fear mongering that the OP is addressing.
We scare pretty easy. If you're ISIS, you have to look at the national reaction to the attack in CA and feel incredibly powerful, just like OBL likely rejoiced in our reaction to 9/11.
Personally, I feel no different after what happened last week. I obviously hate to see innocent people killed, but there is still a far greater chance that I'd be killed driving to the supermarket, or crushed by furniture.
But I watch TV & listen to the radio, and it seems that my fellow Americans are now terrified beyond belief. What gives on that? Can anyone offer a rational explanation for why that makes sense?
When the yanks were paying the IRA to wage a terrorist campaign in England, the people there just got on with it, calmly. Isn't it pathetic to see these Republican cowards beating their hollow chests while they shit bricks and scream!
How's it working out for ya over there? Any beheadings in the street lately?
None whatever. Send us Trump and we'll think about it. Shat many bricks lately?

But why do you think that is? Drunk drivers are a good example. We stand a MUCH great chance of being killed by a drunk driver. Yes, there is concern and action about it - but hardly the hysteria we see w/ the "threat of terrorism."

That's a good description of it, but I'd say that only adds to the idea that it's irrational. We fear ISIS more now because it's new to us - not because it represents more of a threat.
Although I'd say that the Cold War hysteria was at least more based on logic - one bad decision could have destroyed the country & even the world to an extent. And we did get pretty close a few times. ISIS just doesn't have anything close to that kind of destructive power. The best they can really aspire to is the kind of isolated attack we saw last week.
I should clarify, too - this is not a "we shouldn't do anything" thread. I'm all for reasonable security measures & better intel.
This is more a comment on the kind of irrational fear that overtake America, and how dangerous it can be. Definitely alarming to hear demagogues like Trump propose completely un-American measures and then see real support for that.
The bolded in the above us hysterics since you apparently don't know you ignorant fearful sloth.
To make you doubly aware the last sentence of your post is v equally ignorant and fearful.
Must be tough be so unsound of mind as to fall victem to propaganda as you have, idiot.
Waaaa, I'm a skeered Conservative, Trump Daddy, please save me!
