Being concerned about terrorism is one thing, and I agree the police should be turning over every stone to investigate this crime and anyone associated with it. That's not fear, that's smart.

That's not the same as acting out of fear and jumping to redivulous conclusions, supporting xenophobia, and jumping on the bandwagon of a silly man just because he talks tough.

Not wanting Islamic terrorists in the country is not xenophobia, its common sense.....no one talks any 'tougher' than the Obama man, but thats all he does, it talk.....

When you put it that way there's really not much to be afraid of. The odds of a single individual being killed by a terrorist with a gun is astronomically low.

The problem with your thinking is this: sooner or later they are going to up the ante and switch to car bombs and such; also, chemical/biological weapons are out there and even low-grade nuclear devices. The latter can render a large city uninhabitable for decades.

The affects of the latter could be devastating to the economy, national security---basically it could threaten the existence of the country as we know it. I marvel that people worry more about climate change, frankly.

Is anyone besides Trump serious about it?
