Hysteria

The bad guys generally don't identify themselves, if everyone starts shooting, it could easily be worse than having a single shooter.

Gotcha, when someone starts shooting at you, you have no way to tell who the bad guy is. I wish I'd thought of that.

Inner city elitist snobs afraid to touch a gun really have to stop making themselves look foolish

NO, its simply a problem that hysteria has blown out of proportion.

Other than that it's intentional and it's growing, you're probably right. We should wait until it's a lot worse before we try to stop it. You know, once the dead stop being acceptable losses and start to become a problem. And it's not like criminals have guns or anything. We just need to chill

There are some instances where gun ownership will protect a person.

There are some instances where gun ownership will put a person at serious risk.

There is simply no way to 100% protect oneself from any danger.

We need to promote the type of gun ownership that will protect and limit the type that will risk.

introduce a plan that IN NO WAY infringes on my rights as an American

Oh you so brave! They should give you a medal...bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Actually I see no evidence anyone is fearful....i go to the mall it is jammed, I go to the airport..likewise, I go downtown everyone seems as normal as ever......so who are these people that are supposed to be so fearful and hysterical?

Now we supposedly have been fighting a war on terrorism for like l5 years....but does anyone feel like we are at war? There are no ration books. Plenty of food, plenty of Gas, no draft etc. The only time you will hear this war mentioned is if you watch the news, participate in these foolish message boards, read a newspaper(does anyone still do that? Anyhow I think ya'll git mah drift.....we are officially(supposedly) fighting a war but no one is sacrificing anything because we are at war.....except those who are actually fighting it and their families.

Lol...Just makin' a statement. Honestly I see no difference in people's lives. My math teacher took his trip to London and Paris over Thanksgiving break like normal. Probably wasn't a safer time for him to go. But if you watch the news they'd have us believe there are tons of people afraid to go out of their houses. I don't see it. Kind of like the gun debate. The anti-gunners would have us believe people are cowering in fear because their neighbor Ted has an "assault" (yeah right) weapon. Don't see it. Now, as to reading newspapers...I still do that a little. ;)

It's literally ground hog day when she posts. Same discussion over and over.

I know. It is almost as if she recognizes her own failings, but then continues to project them onto others as there is some place in her psyche that doesn't want to admit just how fucked up she is.
