I am dissapointed in President Obama.

He has been much too conservative on many issues.

The Patirot Act, the issue of detention of enemy combatants, Guantanimo Bay, Drone attacks, Millitary detentions, Gay Rights, Marajuana laws, the lack of a Public Option in the health care bill, way too much compromise with the Republicans on spending AND, his lack of a moon shot effort at energy independence. Maybe President Obama's success in forign affairs will get my vote but I dont see how he will be much different than Romney. I am not sure who I will vote for, likley not Obamney.

Will there be a more liberal canidate or will I have to wait for Clinton in 16'?

it's your own fault.....you guys could have been nominating one all along....

I'm disappointed as well. I'm disappointed that we can't just appoint him President for life like a Supreme Court judge. Or at the least just go ahead and appoint him into his lameduck session and let the good times roll!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally I would love for Jarod to highlight the foreign affairs successes Obama has had...

Obviously he will put in assassinating Osama... but what else Jarod?

What do you mean by that? Has it not been implemented fairly or well?

I think he means that the military men and women don't care/aren't afraid of serving with gay men and women. That having gay men and women serve is no different than people of different race/religion/gender serving together

Don't be such a hater. He has had a decent track record in foreign affairs. Ending Iraq, finally tracking down the guy who was actually behind 9/11, aid to protesters in Libya & democracy in Egypt, reducing Russian nuke missile launchers. Afghanistan blows, but what can you do.

Vote Romney. He'll wind up taking less vacations.

Regime change in Lybia, using a broad coalition, without the loss of a single American life.
Ending the policy of proping up Mubarick in Egypt and allowing the chips to fall.
Removing our troops from Iraq.
Keeping Iran at bay, using Isreal as the bad guy, with there attempts at attaining a nuclear weapon.
Not allowing another 9-11 style attack on American soil.
Foiling several plots to commit terrorisim on American soil.
Keeping up the fight in Afganistan to prevent them from going back to a system that would allow Al Queda to thrive and plan another 9-11 attack.
Pressing the fight against Al Queda and getting them on the ropes, systematically eliminating leadership.

Id keep going but thats enough for now.

Obama was a follower, not a leader on that...

Ending the policy of proping up Mubarick in Egypt and allowing the chips to fall.

ROFLMAO... wow, that is an amazing stretch, did you pull a muscle when writing it?

Removing our troops from Iraq.

So he followed Bush's plan. Good work.

Keeping Iran at bay, using Isreal as the bad guy, with there attempts at attaining a nuclear weapon.

He is keeping Iran at bay? Do you watch/read the news?

Not allowing another 9-11 style attack on American soil.

These are not foreign policy issues Jarod.

Keeping up the fight in Afganistan to prevent them from going back to a system that would allow Al Queda to thrive and plan another 9-11 attack.

So 'keeping up the fight in Afghanistan' is good, but so is leaving Iraq. Interesting. Allow Iraq and Egypt to fall under systems not friendly to the US is good. But in Afghanistan it wouldn't be good.

Pressing the fight against Al Queda and getting them on the ropes, systematically eliminating leadership.

So again, keeping to what Bush had already set forth. Ok...

Tell us, how are our relations in Afghanistan right now? Egypt? Iraq? Iran? North Korea? Pakistan? Syria? etc...

Id keep going but thats enough for now.

ya just realized he doesn't have a lot of foreign policy successes didn't you?

SF, you're just undermining your own credibility on this thread. All you're saying is "I refuse to give Obama credit for anything, no matter what," and putting your hands over your ears.

It's silly.

Don't forget the reduced incidents of violence in America, Jarod. But is it correct to say that Obama is "fighting" Islamic radicals? Or is it more like he is complying with Islamic radicals? Having Muslim ties in the Obama family tree does have its perks, yes?

Iraq he followed the timeline set up by Bush... and that was a bad call.
The tracking of Obama was set in place before Obama took office. He made a difficult call on the actual strike, but that is it.

Funny you didn't mention Iran, North Korea, Israel, Palestine, Syria etc...

What is silly is your straw man above. I have no problem giving him credit when he deserves it. If you disagree with what I wrote in response to Jarod, do highlight that and we can discuss.

You undermine your own credibility by saying 'Obama is the best at everything'
