I know we're friends and everything, but I'm shocked you would say something as odd as this. Either I'm misinterpreting what you're saying or gonzo has stolen your ID.

Of course there is a difference .. and "rulers of our country" should be held to a higher standard than a pro football player .. especially when you compare an act of treason that could cost the lives of HUMANS .. and .. dogfighting.

I agree and said all involved in the plamegate affair should be tried for treason. But I do not think that would be approiate for Vick now do you ?

I'm just saying that you are only so supportive of an otherwise pretty standard crime and trial solely because Vick is black.

He was picked up in January for marijuana possession at the Atlanta Airport, and recently tested positive for marijuana shortly before his trial.

In March 2005 he was accused of giving a woman herpes without informing her that he had the disease.

Members of his entourage stole from an airport security worker in 2004.

In 2004 two men were arrested for distributing marijuana while driving Vick's truck--- Vick was warned by the NFL to distance himself from such activities.

On September 26, 1st Source Bank, based in South Bend, Indiana, claimed in a federal lawsuit that it had suffered damages of at least $2 million as Vick and Divine Seven LLC of Atlanta had refused to pay for at least 130 vehicles, including many Kia Spectras, Ford Tauruses, Chrysler Pacificas, and a Dodge Charger. The cars were acquired by Divine Seven to be used as rental cars. The "Specialty Financing Group" of 1st Source provides financing for rental car fleets in many locations around the country, according to the bank's web site

On October 2, 2007, Wachovia Bank filed suit in U.S. District Court in Atlanta seeking about $940,000 from Vick and Gerald Frank Jenkins, a business partner and their Atlantic Wine & Package LLC. The bank claims the two have defaulted on a May 2006 loan of $1.3 million to set up a wine shop and restaurant and have not made scheduled payments since his federal indictment in July

Maybe not a hardcore criminal, but he isn't exactly a saint.
