Pay higher taxes in exchange for increased and improved services.

I'd much rather pay a slightly higher FICA tax for Medicare than continue paying ridiculous premiums, copays, coinsurance, deductibles, prescription drug costs, ambulance rides, hospital stays, and everything else the private insurance system forces you to cover just to get health care.
