The US State Department said the two countries had “constructive” talks and agreed to follow up on their discussions at another meeting “in the near term.”

Though Secretary of State Marco Rubio has highlighted the importance of restoring regular diplomatic services and communications, current and former US and Western officials say the talks also represent a significant concession to Moscow, which is eager to reinstall intelligence operatives under diplomatic cover at its embassies and consulates in Washington, New York, and Houston.

Putin is winning the disinformation war handily. His agents have managed to convince, with the help of #TRE45ONv2.0, RW Americans that Russia is our good friend, not our enemy. The mystery is why do they WANT to believe this? Aren't most of the MAGATs supposedly Christians? Haven't they heard of this saying? "The greatest trick the Devil pulled was convincing the world that he doesn't exist"? lol

I don't know why they would spend all that money rebuilding their spy network all they have to do is send 12 Russian " Diplomats " to the W H or Trump can just have another meeting with Putin all WITHOUT another American in the room and he can just give / sell them some more of our secrets.
Still can't get one right winger to admit There is a possibility ( even if it is small ) that Trump could have given those Russians / Putin / Chinese at MAR. some of our secrets.
They should be asking themselves WHY DIDN'T T rump want any Russian speaking Americans at those meetings?
