I once wrote a novel (for a class, fergawdssakes, AP Creative Writing) where rebirth was backwards in time... I thought I was being clever and stuff. I had to submit it to a publisher, it was, of course, rejected. This idea that you are reborn in the future every time seems wack to me.

Yeah...it does have a "whack" quality to it, but with eternity and infinity...it at least is possible. The REALITY of what is going on floors me...and I love to read essays and books devoted to the possibilities.
