BTW, I don't get the reference to left-lane only for turns on the map. What is different about the states that aren't green from my own? Is that a reference to one-way streets?

Usually "left lane only for turns" means that it is a passing lane or turn lane only.

Oh, wait, I've seen this in Oregon. You mean, people aren't allowed to treat it as a fast lane. That they must get out of it once they pass someone, or if there is an exit on the left-hand side. Right? I think that's a retarded idea. Good God, that would fuck up our traffic system, seeing as we don't have enough lanes already to sustain the volume of traffic in the region!!
