I Had Nothing To Do with THIS and There Is No THIS. Even If I Did Collude It's Not A

Hello iolo,

What a tragedy that they tricked him into playing cowboys in Iran. I'll never forget my total astonishment when I heard a recording of his speech for the first time - amazing! Sensible, honest, direct, impressive, and yet he was a politician. It hardly seemed possible!

Well, he was originally a peanut farmer, then later went into politics.

And since then he has led a non-profit organization which helps the downtrodden and forgotten all over the world. In other words, the right must hate him.

Nothing proclaims disingenuousness than nonstop proclamations of guilt without bothering to have evidence other than buzzfeed articles written by a sketchy reporter.

Try this one on for size.

“The information provided by Cohen about the Moscow Project in these proffer sessions is consistent with and corroborated by other information obtained in the course of the [special counsel's] investigation."

“The defendant, without prompting by the SCO, also corrected other false and misleading statements that he had made concerning his outreach to and contacts with Russian officials during the course of the campaign. For example, in a radio interview in September 2015, the defendant suggested that [Trump] meet with the President of Russia in New York City during his visit for the United Nations General Assembly. When asked previously about these events, the defendant claimed his public comments had been spontaneous and had not been discussed within the campaign or the Company. During his proffer sessions, the defendant admitted that this account was false and that he had in fact conferred with Trump about contacting the Russian government before reaching out to gauge Russia’s interest in such a meeting. The meeting ultimately did not take place.”

Peanut farmer? He was a nuclear specialist in the navy. When he got out, he ran the family farm for a short time. But he was much more than a peanut farmer.

Hello Nordberg,

Peanut farmer? He was a nuclear specialist in the navy. When he got out, he ran the family farm for a short time. But he was much more than a peanut farmer.

That did not jive with my recollection, so I looked it up. He graduated from the Naval Academy in '46 and left the Navy in '53 after only about one year of duty involving nuke subs. He wanted to continue, but his father died so he left the Navy to run the family peanut farm, which he did for ten years prior to getting into politics in '63.
