“After the decades of decrying that the 2nd Amendment is for government regulated 'militias, how do you now feel about the individual rights theory??????”

Again, no right is absolute, regardless of what right you note, peer the Enlightenment thought, “rights are based upon reason, not desire”

And I have no fondness for Scalia, his whole Originalism theory is bullshit, as is the current Court’s Textualism rationale which was derived from Originalism, but I point out Scalia because he was the majority opinion on most defining gun cases, the icon of gun rights, seems his view would weigh with the gun huggers

He is trying to be. He is trying to steal the midterms. He does not care about laws and the Constitution. He is trying to take over "independent" agencies. What is Trump doing that makes you think he is not trying to take powers that presidents do not have? No pretending needed.

maybe I was a bit too subtle and you missed the point, unless you're still adamant about the 2nd Amendment isn't an individual right?

most of the conservative/republican bunch were happy about the heller decision, but those of us who actually understand the Constitution decried it as blatantly wrong and pandering to the gun control crowd.
