I guess Star Trek with all of its "firsts" was not enough to get BAC to watch it. Shame. It is a great optimistic view of a future that I think he'd like.Yep the Borg, don't you know anything ?

Darn BAC, You could have told me you were a transvestite, Jim Jones follower, even one onf those people Damo writes about that dress up in scuba suits and put dildos up their butts for kinks....But this is just too abnormal for me to accept....
7 of 9 was a Borg who was released from the binds of the "Collective".Not so fast my friend.
I was a big fan of Star Trek and Capt. Kirk, and I watched nearly all of those "firsts" .. but it appears that you're talkng about Star Trek from another dimension .. which is what I call the spin-off/rip-offs that I doubt have ever produced a first.
Patrick Stewart and "Data" are a poor excuse for Kirk and Spock.
I don't think I've ever seen a complete show of any of the ripoffs .. that is until I discovered 7 of 9. Even then I am hypnotized by her breats and completely oblivious to plot and anyother characters.
Scott Bacula?btw I heard on the nightly business report the other night that another Star Trek spinoff movie is coming out next year. Boosted the producing comapnies stock too...
While I'm away in Utah later on.
Don't know yet...Scott Bacula?
They always start off like a Kirk thing with idiotic fist fights, etc. They get better as they go.Don't know yet...
I have been watching the enterprise series. Did not like it at first but it got better. I did not watch it when first run. Am watching it off of DVD. No commercials
Collectivism is evil whether it is the form of a workers collective or the Volk. Both systems demean the individual and seek to hamper their ability to achieve and advance. They seek to punish the individual that makes his life better because that necessarily means someone elses life is worse. I will not bow to either. Matter of fact, I'll take up arms against both.

I did not know that .. but then again, if it didn't have anything to do with her breasts .. I'm in the dark. I only catch it for a moment when flipping through channels.
The plots seem banal and the sets are even cheesier than the original StarTrek.
yeah my indulgence this year, a widescreen TV and complete set of Andromeda, Bablyon 5, Enterprise and, SG SG1 and Atlantis on DVD.
Most everything else I bought had genuine usefullness.
