I like Glenn Beck---but--

There is no doubt in my mind that Glenn Beck is doing a better job than anybody in the world when it comes to exposing who the people are in this administration, and it could propel him to a hero status (we will see). Much of what he has to show us is not his opinion, but the actual words and vids of people in this administration who have spoken like a true dictator. The most recient I have heard--- Bertha Lewis (president of ACORN--the marxist ground troops) talking with some progressive friends about two weeks ago--where she says "It is getting close to time to start rounding up people for FEMA camps in the USA."

Now Bertha Lewis is a radical nut job--but the audio is there, and ACORN is more supported by Washington than Isreal.

OK--Glenn is doing a great thing---sticking his life and families life on the line no doubt---but he seems to use this actual crisis as a way to promote his faith to me.

Now--I was Baptized Catholic, but I have not been to church on a regular basis since I was 7 years old (46 now). I was Born in Detroit MI., but moved with the family at the age of 10 to a rural farm area in the lower MI penn.

I went to a school which taught me that I was more free than anybody in any other nation right now (I added the "right now"), and I could grow up to be what ever I wanted to be---and I had as good of a chance as anybody else--if I try. I always believed that--and I believe it is still true--if you are willing to get good at something CONSTRUCTIVE TO OUR SOCIETY, and don't quit---especially if somebody with evil envy tries to knock you down.

From what I gather about kings and queens (or progressives) who want to rule a population like rabbits in a cage--with a bit of recreation so they don't revolt, considering they (the kings and queens) think they give humans the rights of freedom and prosperity,--------------against Glenn Becks argument---that GOD gave humans the right to be as free as possible, is a deep argument for a faith based person who may be a bit of a fanatic (fanatics--the only problem with peacefull religions IMO).


Glenn Beck seems to be a bit of a fanatic, and it bugs me that he uses this real crisis to push his faith. Now--I went to church until I was 7---and I seem to have a very strong consious of right and wrong. May be---if we add the Fruidoian concept that your person hood is formed between the ages of 0 and 5 years old, and the good values of the Cathloic church taught to a five year old (love every one and inspire eachother--not attack eachother)---then---leqaving the church at 7 years old for total freedom in a hard working and honest envionment---made me who I am today. I know freedom with opportunity--and I see it's value to any population.

I want to say this to Mr. Glenn Beck (who I do have much respect to hand the guy for exposing these radical people)----I don't know if GOD gave me the right to be free or not---and I know many here think not or don't know either--or they agree with Glenn. But I do know this---that I am pretty sure we all can agree on.

I know no other man or woman (like pelosi)--has the right to take freedom away from another man or woman.

One of my favorite quotes--not related to god (because the writer is not faith based)----but respected by Glenn Beck also--

I SWEAR ON MY LIFE, AND MY LOVE FOR IT (how much do you love your own life folks?), I WILL NOT LIVE MY LIFE FOR THE SAKE OF ANOTHER MAN.---NOR WILL I ASK ANOTHER MAN TO LIVE THEIR LIFE FOR THE SAKE OF ME. (Ayn Rand--Atlas Shrugged).

Those are hard hitting words from 53 years ago by a severly oppressed Russian woman who moved to the USA, and loved capatalism. I would like to modify the quote for today.

I just know that no people/man, has the right to hinder individual success---as it breeds more success in others. (and progressives know it)--Thus--the USA has to be stopped in the ruling world view.

Just human nature. Think about it. What are we doing to ourselves?

Just a man---but a seeker of truth IMO. I can actually understand why man had to use God (assuming that is what happened) for a argument against a human ruler. Who else is above God? Certainly not another man.

Glenn Beck is a fool.

I do not mean by this that Mr. Beck is an idiot-he is a reader and plainly bright. Instead, with his stagey manner, entertaining gambits, and hyperbole, Beck has made himself into the court jester for the Age of Obama.

One cannot watch a Glenn Beck program with a totally straight face, but then one cannot contemplate our debt and the irresponsible behavior of both political parties impassively either. One either needs jeremiads or jests and we are sadly short of men with the dignity and integrity of the prophet Jeremiah. Only those without fiscal sin can cast the first stone and there is hardly a man left in Washington who can afford to have his fiscal house examined.

We are left then with the voices of the clowns. Clowns are often a bit dodgy and they are allowed to make seedy arguments, but many a jest turns out to be truth. Fools entertain us, but they educate us while we laugh. This edutainment has limited value, but sometimes foolish rulers have to be answered by fools foolishly if they are to end their folly.

When the fool of the Middle Ages brayed like a donkey and galloped about the court, he was not being serious, but might get through to the King that the Sovereign was being an ass. In America the citizen is King and we get the rulers we deserve. Beck acts like an ass at times, but does so in a manner calculated to make millions of sovereign citizens wake up to many of our problems.

Glenn Beck is edutaining a generation with his antics. He is not my idea of entertainment, just as Colbert or Stewart, other fools of our political life, don't make everybody laugh, but he does serve a function. He is not my idea of fun, he may not be your idea of fun, but if he buys the Republic one hundred more years of fiscal sanity by his clowning than I say: "God bless, Glenn Beck."*

Beck's essential message is that both political parties have been corrupted by power and that a vile combination of big business and big government threaten our liberty. This message is not oft heard as one party kowtows to big business and the other creates ever bigger government. Beck trusts nobody and if his paranoid style is taken seriously it might be dangerous, but he is always winking at his audience to let them know he is never totally serious.

He loves liberty and a balanced budget, no fooling.

"Social justice" is a good thing. Every Christian is for justice and if Beck means that only individuals should be just, then he is wrong. But Beck is recognizing that many Christians on the left use the phrase "social justice" as an excuse to baptize their preferred solutions to injustice. We all want a just society, but disagree on the steps we should take to get it. How much injustice can we do to the rich, for example, in order to help bring justice to the poor? He is no fool to worry. For every Robin Hood who rights wrong by robbing from King John to give to Farmer John, there are five socialist bureaucrats who will rob from rich and poor to make government rich.

Of course, Beck over generalized on his show, but that is the job of the jester. He paints in bright colors to enable us to see. Beck starts discussions about social justice that illuminate our common concern that institutions be just, but also that the means used to achieve institutional justice do not become unjust to individuals. Institutions and society must be just, but this call for justice cannot be used as an excuse to expand government at the expense of our liberty.

That is the deep truth in the jests of Beck about social justice.

President Obama would be wise to chuckle at Beck's tears and hyperbole, but hear the authentic populist worries that have fueled his rise. Every king is lucky when they have a good fool and Glenn Beck is Obama's jester. He has gained a sizable audience by saying loudly in public what many people think in private. Joblessness is the bane of the early years of Obama's presidency and Beck understands the frustration of many of the fearful members of our culture. President Obama should make use of Beck, his court jester, because a jester unemployed is nobody's fool and a leader who ignores his clown is soon a nobody.**

Beck is an incredibly evil man and a traitor. The founders would've only talked to him long enough to tell him the date of his hanging.
 
Beck makes me laugh and that's one of the reasons I like him. He still has the phone waiting for the WH to call him. LOL

This article is right, he does go after both sides with vigor.

Let me explain why coporatioins get really big. It is a lack of competition--which is caused by government to a large degree, to allow human greed to take over---so the want to be ruler government can tell you what they did to us. 5 industries taken over so far--but you see no trend starting.

Well--I got jobs from them and leanred how to do somehting--so it was not all bad.

IMO, the government knows non perverted capatalism works really really well for citizen wealth---so they pervert it, call you a victim--then 50 years later--we are fighting for the last loaf of bread at the grocery store.

The answer to coportate monopolies is competition---but I don't consider exploiting slave labor in developing nations a real responsible way for government to allow business to be done on a global scale. Do you? We used to use a thing called tarrifs. It is not hard to figure out why profits go us--whyle we lose our opportunity when exploiting global slavde labor with little or no regulation. The world bankers made out like bandits, and probably coaxed coporations to go over seas. Quote from a Scotland world banker in the Wall Street Journal article about newer developing nations haveing a hard time producing jobs--they blame China. "It is one thing to produce job loss in the USA, but another thing to produce job loss in Afganistan."

Put all the blame on coporations if you must--but they were set up IMO. "Too big to fail" means their competition was eliminated---for them. Did you see the contributions Goldman Sachs made for the Obama campaign, and how many employees have been shuffeled around?

Why do we insist in attacking other peoples religion? Are you trying to rip the hearts out of your American neighbors?

None of us agree with all of the religions, or may be none of them--but I don't want to rip my neighbors heart out by attacking peacefull core beliefs.
