Who said Iran can hold out forever? Or that Iran is winning the war?
What is occurring is that Iran is playing Trump to hold out as long as they can, which so far they have been successful at doing. Trump has not achieved any of the goals of his war, and in addition, has shown Iran that they have the ability to impact the world’s economy.
Trump misplayed his hand, he never understood the situation from the jump, and now he is desperate for an off ramp, a “deal” he can attempt to frame so that he can proclaim he “won”
