No question about it - it's the same with civil rights. Still a long way to go, but night & day compared to a few decades ago.

It's actually hard to imagine how bad it must have been in the 60's & 70's for women, before the Hill case really put just the basic concept of sexual harassment at the forefront. We have made a lot of progress.

Granted it's hard to gauge.....but backlash is a one-way street here. Trump's base is the face of the GOP now and very few Indies will be swayed to join their amoral ranks. This is a blatant attempt to humiliate Ford, anyone on the fence will jump to her defense.

Thank you, it was “Mad Men”, we were regularly sexualized and harassed at work. There was little you could do about it complaints fell on deaf ears. I am glad my daughters have recourse if it ever happens to them.

"Mad Men" was the 1st thing I thought when I wrote that. What a great show - and I think probably a pretty accurate depiction of the atmosphere in most offices at that time.
 
Perv Kavanaugh was PLASTERED at that party, how can he possibly testify today that Ford's attack wasn't perpetrated by him?

See we are smarter than that, we know that this is a stall tactic to push the vote past election time, in hopes of gaining the Senate, and keeping any nomination out, suck on that for awhile, we have been here before, and this should have been squashed as soon as it came forward from this tramp.
