I see a trend...

House values in shitter, people cant make money on wallstreet anymore long term think 5-6% a year for most, no pensions anymore, AND to top it off SSI going into deficit for first time this year (minus the bogus interest) so expect that to get slashed.

And then some people wonder why I dont want to pay any taxes for any causes from the govt. At this point I just want to keep what is mine.

Look at this chart:

If you think what the Republicans are doing now that we are coming out of a recession is the same as what the Democrats did in 2008 while we were plunging into a recession you need to have your head examined.

if anyone honestly thinks there is any difference between the democrats and republicans in terms of what they will do for political gain or to get elected I think they need to get your head examined.

an an independent I vote for what party depending on which will effects me the least because any effect is usually a negative when it comes from our overbearing governement.

As for last presidential election I voted for Obama as McCain Was talking about expanding war and was buying into the scam of eliminating company sponsored health-care. That's almost as bad as Bush's scam plan to privatize SSI. My last senate vote I voted for Brown to put a stop to this national healthcare nonsense as it would cost me more money to support other states when our state is already all set.

I feel sorry for people who only vote one party thinking they are superior to the other.

Not the way the R's are doing it now. Anyway I hate the argument, they did it to!
Looks like with the new jobless numbers we are likely going above 10,000 soon. Sorry, you guys almost had what you wanted!

Why do Republicans hate America so much?

The DOW just dropped below 10K. If it holds there I think it will set off a selling point, a psychological barrier. This has nothing to do with the economy, just an observation.

And you are just noticing this "trend"? The Ds spent 8 years trashing the economy after an attack on our economic infrastructure...

The years with his head up his keester don't count.

Sorry to disappoint you cons... Closed over 10,012.

While 10k is certainly a psychological barrier for novices, the level of 10000 is not a technical breakpoint. 10,200 was. There should be mild support around the 9700 level, 9400 and 9100. Then there is a fall off until about the 8100 level.

The fact that the S&P also broke its technical support level this week does not bode well for the markets in coming weeks. Closing below 1080 again is going to strengthen the 1080 level as resistance. The more days we close below it, the stronger the resistance will grow.

With the economy looking the way it does, it is very likely that we will get the second dip. Way too many problems facing the economy, which increases the likelihood that one of them balloons into the next 'crisis' (I say crisis because that is what one or both of the parties and the media will try to make it.)

Regardless of when I noticed it, it is uncool. It is harming America and it should stop. Those bums who are trying to hurt America to get at President Obama should be thrown out of politics.

Pelosi: Where Are the Jobs, Mr. President?

August 1, 2003

Washington, D.C. -- House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on the Bureau of Labor Statistics' announcement that 470,000 people abandoned their job searches in July and that 3.2 million private sector jobs have been lost since President Bush took office:

“The fact is that President Bush’s misguided economic policies have failed to create jobs. Since President Bush took office, the country has lost 3.2 million jobs, the worst record since President Hoover.

Guess bad mouthing Bush was ok but don't bad mouth the messiah...

Todays figures....8.4 million jobs lost ? 2.8 of them in 2008(Bush)

Do the math Jarhead....

And Thankfully, while it wasn't a day of growth it seems that the DOW will be above 10K today.
