I truly can't think of a more offensive concept than "bussing"

First, if you live in a nice area, you pay property taxes. The government rapes your wallet. Maybe you should get something in return for that? Cool... so your kids get to go to a good school that you paid for. But wait, nope... your kids are going to get shipped to a shitty inner city school instead.

Often times you have to take a long bus ride, sometimes more than an hour in both directions. This is harmful to kids, young adults need sleep, need time to do homework and extracurricular activities.

Secondly, white kids would be far more isolated in black schools than the other way around. In my nearly all white high school, we had two black kids, and they had zero issues, everyone was friendly to them, they fit in fine.

White children going to a ghetto inner citty school would have it far worse.

It's not our fault that urban african americans are 70% without fathers, which leads to poor communities and lackluster institutions.

This social engineering is appalling.

Innocent kids should not have to go to shit tier schools when their parents have already paid for their education in their nicer community.

Now, we could make an argument that all schools should be properly funded. I can at least understand that argument because it's not good for anyone to have a bunch of retard citizens voting. Smarter citizens is better for everyone.

Bussing is not the way to go about doing that though.

I grew-up just north of Seattle city limits. My hometown of Lake Forest Park was incorporated in 1961. But, the larger city to the west, Shoreline, did not formally incorporate until 1995. I attended the Shoreline School District, which was literally the single reason why Shoreline incorporated, so as to protect that stellar institution from falling into the hands of Seattle. My high school was merely a few blocks north of the city boundary.

I haven't been in Seattle in a VERY long time. Last I heard, there was an influx of negroes from California that were fucking up the entire, once white, City. Any truth to that?

We're still pretty white up here. I think Asians are still a larger group than blacks.

But, we've got safe heroin injection sites, sanctuary status, and lots of other hilarious stuff.

I just looked for sh*ts and giggle. Asians are almost double the black population. Asians still make up only 14%. In SF they are over 30%.

hahaha ... Asians are a staple on the West Coast. Along with 'American Indians'. Those groups easily merge with the White population. Intermarriage common. Down here in New Orleans, quite a bit different. New Orleans was a 'Slave port' along with being a huge cotton export port. Still transitioning from 'Old South' to 'New South'. Lots of pissed off Negroes be Hatin' on Whitey. (can't really blame them)
