I've been debating myself about whether or not to do this but since during the relatively short amount of time that I was a member here I often spoke passionately about Ted Cruz and inspired by Ted Cruz and so I felt that I needed to come back and share this. With Ted Cruz recently announcing that he will be voting for Donald Trump I felt the need to say that I was wrong about him and that I was naive in my trust of his convictions regarding Trump. When he announced that he will be voting for Trump I felt like a fool, I felt embarrassed, and I felt betrayed in some ways.I understand that it is his right to change his mind and I can't fault him for that, but I do not agree with his choice.

If it meant we never get another Trumpist nominee again, it could be worth the while. His supporters need to have their spirits crushed, once and for all. I think his getting elected would accomplish that necessity much more effectively, however, because they couldn't lie or deflect, and the feeling of betrayal would be total.

Ted Cruz had credibility and principles worth noticing when he refused to endorse the fucking idiot Trump after he insulted Cruz’s wife. The fact that he now is willing to vote for the asshole just goes to show you what his principles really are, he’s a fucking partisan pussy just like the rest of the duopoly dorks. His political life and enrichment outweighs any principle he ever flirted with.

Government never shuts down! Government is force by definition! Government never gives up its abilities to FORCE!
What you think is a government shutdown is simply the temporary defunding of what government calls NON-ESSENTIALS and government considers very little related to massive government to be non-essential. Government doesn’t shutdown its force and its regulations and its vote buying socialist programs!
Furthermore, it takes two to allegedly shutdown government. It only happens when politicians can’t and won’t compromise and that takes TWO political opponents. Blaming it on one is absurd and brain-dead partisan!
