I wish I lived in China where there is no EPA "Tyranny"

not even the 1/2 of it. Beijing is full of garbage dumps, it makes so much trash they have no place to put it.

Cities in China that are developing rapidly are facing a garbage crisis.
Government figures reveal that more than one-third of the country's cities are surrounded by waste and that the accumulated trash now occupied 750,000 acres of land across the country.

According to the People's Daily, Beijing produces 18,400 tonnes of garbage a day, with the tonnage appreciating 8% annually. Beijing's capacity for disposing of garbage is 10,300 tonnes a day, meaning that 8,000 tonnes of trash a day goes remains unprocessed. About 20,000 tonnes of garbage is cleaned out of Shanghai every day, while Guangzhou generates 18,000 tonnes of waste a day.

The situation can also be observed in rural areas.

The country's environmental protection minister, Zhou Shenxian, said 40,000 towns and 600,000 villages in China do not have the proper infrastructure to process waste and sewage, which has resulted in 280 million tonnes of trash each year.

The situation is becoming more severe and has also begun to affect people's health. According to Guangzhou's Southern Metropolis Daily, 12 people have died from cancer over the past decade in Yuanfeng village administered by the city of Dongguan. The village, which is flanked by a garbage mountain, has 400 residents and many locals believe the trash is bringing a higher incidence of cancer.

You must be a "Liberal" who thinks America should do better than what you posted! How dare you!?! Don't you know that Corporations don't get as much profit when they are held to regulations that don't endanger the people? I know the Left tries to sell little babies as a reason to act humane but the Right uses Corporations as a reason to act inhumane. Don't you care about the Corporate profit? You know that once Corporations have complete control of your life you will be in money heaven, (R)ight?

I'm wary of gov't regulaton, not sold on global warming, and think it's stupid to ban US coal plants while China and India are exempt.
I do think new tech has to be incorporated, as we move to green, but putting ourselves at an economic disadvantage, while China and India glom up our jobs isn't an answer either.

China's problems are China's -a lot of it is their population, we have our own enviornmental problems.

I'd prefer we had a debate on these, and not rely on the EPA to govern thru regulation
