“We will not allow the terrorist regime of radical Islam in Syria to harm the Druze. If the regime harms the Druze – it will be harmed by us,” Katz said.

“We have instructed the IDF to prepare and deliver a strong and clear warning message: If the regime harms the Druze – it will be harmed by us.”

The prime minister and defense minister added in the joint statement that the government is committed to “our Druze brothers in Israel” and will “do everything to prevent harm to their Druze brothers in Syria; we will take all necessary steps to maintain their security.”

According to most historical and genetic evidence, the Druze are considered descendants of ancient tribes from the Near East, particularly from the region encompassing modern-day Turkey, Armenia, and northern Iraq, with a significant amount of Armenian ancestry, and their religious lineage is often linked to the Kenite tribe of Jethro, Moses' father-in-law in the Bible

Yahoo and his corrupt Likund has tore Israel's ass with regards to any credibility beyond it's zionist agenda. Cheeto Jeezus kind of sealed that with his latest antics. So the IDF is just another thug army when all is said and done.

Not shocking at all....we shall see how all this works out for the Zionist Bastards.....While a lot of the Turkish Elites are pro West and thus likely to follow their orders from Washington that only goes so far.....they feel that they are stewards of the Ottoman Empire.

I remember in 1989, a Turkish friend of mine told me that Turkey would be part of the EU(EC back then) within 5 years. 30 years later, did not happen.

I think the Turks are angry they are not being invited into the EU. Several of the countries already in the EU were part of the USSR back in 1989, so it is not a just wait your turn situation.
