A young mother gave birth on a pavement outside a hospital after she was told to make her own way there.

Mother-of-three Carmen Blake called her midwife to ask for an ambulance when she went into labour unexpectedly with her fourth child.

But the 27-year-old claims she was refused an ambulance and told to walk the 100m from her house in Leicester to the city's nearby Royal Infirmary.

News flash: Health care reform does not mean moving to England.

Where is your outrage at our current system?

If someone with insurance needs expensive treatment, insurance companies routinely deny their claims. Or they point to the "lifetime cap" and deny further treatment. Don't you care about your fellow Americans who suffer and die daily from insurer's greed?
 
If someone takes the gamble and goes without health insurance they wrote their own ticket. They lose any wealth they accumulate then go on Medicaid.
