Obama has made mistakes, I agree.


Overall I belive he has performed 1000% greater than his predesor.

In eight years, we will be much better off than we were after 8 years of Bush. The economy is turning around, the stimilous is begining to take effect, stocks are up, the rate of job loss is signifigantly slowing. The war in Iraq is almost drawn to a close, the war in Afganistan is finally starting in earnest.

Lots of messes are being cleaned up... and Obama has only been presidnet 6 months.

Clinton endured similar attacks throughout his Presidency; meme's constant warnings that Obama is about destroy America & our way of life are like deja vu...the same was being said about Clinton.

Now, no doubt Clinton was an imperfect human being, and his admin was wrought with mistakes, but America has rarely been as strong as we were at the end of his 8 years.

Obama is doing pretty well on the whole right now, and the economy in particular is showing some fairly optimistic signs. In the end, that is all that will matter.

What was the state of the nation at the end of Bush's 2nd term?

The economy was the worst it has been in nearly 3 decades. Our standing around the globe was worse than just about any other period in modern times. The vast majority of Americans thought we were on the wrong track.
