If government-financed healthcare doesn't work....

Too late.

Whether they "want" it or not, is irrelevant. The fact is that probably the majority of americans who do have comprehensive health benefits, currently ARE already on some sort of publically funded healthcare program - whether it be SCHIP, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, VA, or Federal Employee Health Program.... and these publically funded programs are equivalent to, or superior than, the crap HMOs that employees of Walmart or JiffyLube have.

I just looked up some numbers chap.

You can claim americans don't "want" publically financed healthcare.

It doesn't matter what they "want". A huge number, perhaps even a majority of the insured demographic, ALREADY take and accept publically financed healthcare.

Medicare has over 40 million recipients.
Medicaid has over 30 million recipients.
SCHIP has, what, maybe ten million at least?
FEHBP has about ten million.
VA - I don't know. But, its got to be in the millions.
TRICARE: Who knows, but its got to be in the millions too.

And should we count public school teachers, firemen, police, local and state employees? Thats got to be way over ten million at least.

You're a douche. You don't have a viewpoint.

This from the idiot who finds it surprising that we draw districts according to the amount of individuals who are actually within them, rather than setting them to county lines that were arbitrarily put down 100 years ago and have little to do with real life.

some of my viewpoints have even been adjusted from good arguments.

Everytime I make an argument for single-player healthcare, your sole response is "LOL man Amewrica don't want that why don't you move to France that you love so much".

Let's take a class in "logical fallacies 101", shall we not? Can you see how the frustrates the shit out of me?

I've given you the raw number that have proven that national healthcare systems, even the most expensive kinds which don't require waiting lists at all, are less expensive than what we are currently paying. In fact, just IN TAXES, we pay more than most of them, and then we have to supplement that with money out of our own pocket. I advocate this because I'm a fiscal conservative. National healthcare can be implemented without raising taxes.
