Depends on how the election played out. I for one will be on the side of voter fraud this time if Harris wins because of massive "ballot dumps" at 2 am in Democrat controlled "battleground" states that break something like 80% for Harris and reverse the trend of voting that has been going on for hours and hours. Not going to buy it this time.

I'm still amazed when I see conservatives repeat things like the bolded. "Ballot dumps" are just the usual election process - it literally happens every single election, where some areas are counted first, some are counted in the middle, and some are counted last.

In PA in 2020, for example, literally everyone who understands elections knew the vote counts would spike for Biden at the end. Because of the votes they were counting - they were from areas that broke 70-30 and even close to 80--20 for Biden in some cases. So, anyone who UNDERSTANDS elections and vote counting could easily extrapolate what would happen when large #'s of votes from those areas were counted.

There is no such thing as a "voting trend." In every election of my lifetime, leads have changed over the course of election eve. Enough of this misinformation.

I think 2020 was the 1st election for most of MAGA. It certainly seems that way. I've never gotten excited when my candidate is leading at midnight when there are still a lot of votes to count. I look at where those uncounted votes are coming from, knowing that is vital to how the lead might either hold or change.

Urban precincts take longer to count because of the dense population, the vote tallies come in later, and trend Democratic.

In 2020 Trump was even warned by his own people that early returns would trend Republican, before the urban Democratic precincts were counted.

I don't have a problem with the idea of the dumps. I have a problem with the percentages shifting radically like that. Doesn't happen. It particularly doesn't happen with very large sample sizes.

I actually KNEW it would happen in the areas I talked about in PA in 2020 - as did ANYONE WHO UNDERSTANDS ELECTIONS.

I was stoked when they showed the areas that still has large remaining votes to be counted. They were from areas that were at minimum 70-30 in favor of Biden. Easy to extrapolate.

It does happen, every single election. Every time.

Don't forget that 150 million people voted in '20. A record number of votes during the trump pandemic.

I think '16 was. Many who never followed politics were inspired by trump's rhetoric. '20 was huge because so many came out to vote against another 4 years of trump.

Steve Kornacki is the go to guy for the analysis you mention re. uncounted votes. His analysis has been so on point for so many years, they now have him doing sports!

That's a good point that this seems like the first election MAGA morons ever participated in, because their political naivte is really remarkable.
