The threat was very real, and our stock market took it seriously. The idea of a "Trade War" started, because of the Felon's threats. Alas, as should have been easily predictable by all, when it came to implementing any of the threats, The Felon backed down. So, our economy responded to the threats, but the actual war did not happen, China and others called our bluff and we failed to implement any of the stated actions. IN that sense it never really started.

We are now slowly moving back to where we were before the threats. Some are still concerned about the damage the silly threats caused, and others are unsure of our leader's intent here.

Some damage was done to our economy, but it is resilient and we will get back to normal if the Felon keeps proving he had no resolve.
