I don't agree with that at all. If that was true Obama would have beaten Hilliary in a landslide in the primaries but he didn't, it was a very close race. I think Hilliary lost her opportunity to be President there and I don't think she'll run in 2016.

I don't think she lost her opportunity. And you could point to the choice of black/woman as the reason there was no landslide.

Perhaps it's more accurate to say that independents weren't ready for a female president. Conservatives would never consider it....unless they were seduced a la Palin.

Registered indies couldn't vote in a primary in some states, but many independents register as one party or the other...unlike me.
