...they would be begging him to take a lie detector test.

True...the lie detector is not especially reliable in courtroom cases...

...but in a situation like this, it is deemed very reliable.

In fact, the FBI and CIA use lie detectors to screen their people...and their people are more likely to know how to defeat the tests.

Kavanaugh would be handled just as Ford was.

The person administering the test would discuss what would be happening for an extended period...a written summary of what will be covered in the test will be gone over very carefully...and just one or two questions will be asked.

Essentially the question being asked will be:

"Were your answers before the Senate Judiciary Committee the truth...the whole truth...and nothing but the truth?"

There is no way Kavanaug will submit to that.

Indications are that he lied...lied often...and lied about material things.

But...I notice his supporters here, and in the congress, do not seem interested in asking him to take a lie detector test.

I wonder why that is?
 
Can we just stop with this charade? Most conservatives want him on the bench most liberals don't. It isn't about the "truth" regarding Dr. Ford because she's just a means to an end.

And even if he did all that you request it would mean nothing to you because he's still a bad tempered alcohol, a gambling addict and an ice throwing thug who does not have the temperament to be on the Supreme Court.

I'm just wondering why he doesn't want to...and why his supporters are so anxious for him not to.

True, but not entirely, if we have learned anything from these past few weeks it is that Bret isn't really SCOTUS material, he has shown himself to be heavily partisan, under the influence of the White House, and has been caught in minor fabrications that really question his ability to be appointed to a lifetime position to the Court

Having said all that, he will be appointed, "rammed thru" regardless, but his confirmation will be tainted and have influence on the November elections

Amy Barrett was probably my first choice for SC justice but I am fine with Kavanaugh being the nominee

But you know what's worse than that?

Having an emotionally unstable, blubbering, alleged rapist, liar, dry drunk incapable of self-control on the highest court in the land.
