The CDC isn't going to announce that tomorrow and they won't announce it next week or next month. If we are lucky maybe by the end of the year but it all depends on how stupid people like GFM are when it comes to helping finally stop the pandemic. Thanks for helping make sure the pandemic won't end any time soon, GFM.

55,000 new cases yesterday. 66,000 per day a month ago. It's slowing but we have a long way to go.

Got to love hypotheticals coming from a winger, you can pretty much be assured it is a set up question

Lets see, if pandemic was actually over would people in general stop wearing masks they put on because of the pandemic, ah, let me think about it, probably, except those hypochondriacs nervous about other air born viruses

I've known and seen people who were so freaked out that they wore masks all the time and that was way, way before the covid-19.

As Howie Mandel would say, "now you understand how I feel!!!"
 
If they announced that wearing masks and social distancing would cut down Coronas cases and make fewer people sick and die, would you do it? The rightys showed what they would do. We can be sure if Corona was taken care of and masks were not needed, we would stop them, once we were sure. But red governors are opening up right now against CDC recommendations. They lack credibility. If the CDC said it was OK, I would quit wearing a mask. Maybe not in the winter. It actually keeps you warm.
 
I wonder what the CDC would have to announce tomorrow to get me to actually start wearing one.

I suppose when I have to step over bodies in the street to go anywhere.

I didn't ask for your thoughts on what "people in general" would do... I asked about what YOU would do... What would you, archives, do if such an announcement were to occur?

I don't need the CDC to tell me when to wear one. I ONLY wear one where it is required by the businesses I am entering. Other than that, I have NEVER been afraid or concerned about a virus that has a RECOVERY rate of 99.84%. It's bizarre and stupid what sheep the citizens of the world have become. :rolleyes:
