Okay. Let's say that the CDC made the announcement in my OP and that their reasoning behind the announcement is that daily case numbers have declined down to a safe level to where mask wearing is no longer necessary.

Would you take off your mask?

Does it bother you that I am currently defying CDC recommendations by refusing to wear a mask in public (let alone double masking)?

Yes, I’m a supporter of mask mandates.

Yes, it bothers me that people are selfish and do not consider others well being during this pandemic.

I'll continue to wear one if for no other reason than it helps other ppl to feel safe.

I will wear one in the future to lower my risk of colds and flu. I am am convinced our flu season was basically non existent because of masks. I will also continue to get flu shots and COVID shots in the future. I think being 65, although I am in good health, my immune system is weaker. I will do whatever I can to reenforce it.
