IF the CDC announced tomorrow...

... that the "pandemic" was "over", and that mask wearing was no longer "recommended" (or "necessary"), would you stop wearing one?

I bet many nanny staters keep wearing masks. They put such a fear into them, it's going to be hard to ween them off their fear.

In the future, if I have the flu and must go out, Ill likely wear one, or if I am susceptible I will likely temporarily wear one.

I wore one a few times, at the Dr.'s suggestion when my wife was undergoing Chemo.

Even before the plague, I sometimes saw people in the store -- often in a wheelchair -- wearing a mask. I assumed it was for that reason: they were immuno-compromised due to chemo or organ transplant. Anyone who thinks that a mask is the sign of someone fearful or brainwashed lacks empathy and knowledge.

I believe I mentioned before, every time “nightingale,” or who ever else he is at the moment, gets stuck he attempts to turn everything into an exchange on semantics, “who is Science,” predictable
I'm not stuck on anything; you are simply speaking gibberbabble.

I’ve never been 65 before,
... and now you have... so?

and when you are a Senior you can be more susceptible to illness.
If your immune system still works well, then I wouldn't be too concerned. Of course, one's body and everything within it naturally and slowly deteriorates with age.

I wore a mask when I was receiving chemo because of my compromised immune system. My doctors advised it, especially when I traveled to attend my son’s graduation.
Okay. That's a specific instance where I would be a bit more mindful of what I'm doing and exposing myself to.

Masks are a consideration for others.
Masks are an outward sign of compliance.

If you have a cold or the flu, wearing a mask is the right thing to do.
Libtards sure love their rhyme time, don't they? Just like the sheep in Animal Farm...

Not giving it to others is a considerate thing to do, not a terrible burden,
It's a natural part of life that cannot be controlled all that much.

So you also think more people live in the US than actually do?
If 99.848% of people recover than 347,000,000 people in the US have contracted Covid and recovered. Except only 330,000,000 actually live here and I know a lot of people that have not contracted Covid.

There are over 15 countries where more than the entire population would have had to contract Covid for the recovery rate to be 99.848% Any country with more than 1,520 deaths per million disproves that idiotic claim by TD that you so eagerly and naively agree to.

And before you claim that the Covid deaths are exaggerated let me remind you that prior to 2020 the most deaths in a year in the US was 2019 which saw 2,845,957 but then in 2020 we had 3,403,979 an increase of more then 550,000. At no time in the last 50 years of US history have we seen an increase in deaths like that from year to year. For the prior 20 years the average increase in deaths from one year to the next was 22,000 with the largest yearly increase being 86,000.

I responded "bingo!" to "Ironic that the morons who say follow the science, ignore it all the time." ... learn how to read.

No.

Who says that over 500K have died from covid? How do they KNOW that? That number is a complete fabrication btw.

I don't claim to know what the exact percentage is... I just claim that the VAST majority of people who have had it have survived it just fine.

They are exaggerated. Other causes of death are being redefined as "covid death"... Also, did you know that the (former USA) population also increased during that time period? That explains the "increase" that you are seeing here. The all cause mortality rate is no higher than it's been in recent previous years. There is no "insane increase in deaths" occurring.

Ok. Which causes of death are being redefined as covid death? The fact is that almost every major cause of death in the US has seen an increase in the number of deaths by that cause. I guess when you just bury your head in the sand you can make any ridiculous claim you want. The mortality rate is no higher than in previous years? What was the mortality rate in previous years and what was the mortality rate in 2020? Provide a valid source.

... and you can come to this conclusion for yourself WITHOUT any "CDC guidelines", correct? :)

Well I haven't gotten sick and I'm not dead so yeah.

I am not a little trained monkey that assumes everything the government tells us is accurate.

It appears I am correct.
