If the media is releasing polls to help Obama then why?

So the argument is that because the Fox polls are in agreement and the assumption is that Fox is conservative, ergo no bias? That is the argument?

I expect that sort of lazy thought process from liberals, but not libertarians. I guess I expect too much

I think Jarod's question adds to it. I understand there may well be problems with the methodology. However, the charge that there is some hidden bias to favor Democrats seems like paranoid nonsense.

I am not nor have I ever been a mind reader. All I know is that it is tough to believe that dems have a +9 advantage in Ohio which is higher than it was in 2008 when we saw a report out that voter registration in Ohio among dems is down over 40%.

Now, if you want to believe the polls are accurate, then so be it. I don't believe they are. Are the pollsters conspiring? I don't know, nor do I have proof of it.

But, let's ask this question. If they are all going to use essentially the same model, then why have different polling agencies? Seems kind of redundant dontcha think?

No one believes Fox is a conservative news outlet. Hell we all know it's a right wing propaganda outlet. LOL News on Fox? Can't recollect ever seeing that.

I still maintain that Fox is a Tracey Ullman sketch. I think she has been paying homage to SNL by letting it run too long.
 
A real conservative news outlet cannot exist, because by its nature news is based on reality, facts. Conservative ideas are based on emotion like fear and desire. If you want something to be true, just pretend it is, thats how my conservative friends operate.

Nah, news is based on sensationalism. Mencken knew what it was about, muckraking. We get the media we pay for.
