The Air Force will undoubtedly order me to get vaccinated, but its the military, so I have come to expect that. Already this year, they had me take my annual flu shot earlier than normal.

My initial thought would be to kill the person attempting to inject the live, man-made virus into my veins. If that isn't an option, however, I'll resist until they are forced to kill me, because there is no way in hell I'll take that goddamn vaccine.

Both of the guys I know are in their prime years. Yes, it is anecdotal. But I have yet to see any stats that warrant the fear mongering by the press, which is horrible at science reporting.

That's true but most Americans are illiterate in science anyways so it's a wash.

He doesn't have much political credibility, and when his politics and his medicine gets mixed up like in the Schaivo case he seems to go more towards politics. But I'm sure he's a first rate doctor otherwise.

My concern is this one may have been rushed to market and not properly tested based on hysteria. I will take my chances with the evil I know.

Flu vaccines never go through a full range of clinical trials. They were tested decades ago. This vaccine has gone through all the same protocols that a regular vaccine goes through. Again, you are much more likely to die of the swine flu than through anything wrong with the flu vaccine. When you talk about hysteria, you're fingering the wrong group.
