It says he’s also guilty of setting up the assault.

Accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt. Trump will pardon himself.
 
Trump keeps blaming Pelosi for not stopping the attack on the Capitol.
To me, he's highlighting his weakness. He was the goddamned Commander-in-Chief.
If he couldn't stop the insurrection and assault on our Capitol, he's unfit to be president.

But, of course, he WANTED the insurrection. He took pleasure in watching the insurrection unfold.
And that would make him unfit to be president as well.

Or he's saying their sentencing and convictions were grossly excessive in relationship to their actions in a 3 hour riot.

Then he should reduce the sentence.
I don't think anyone but the MAGA morons are gonna swallow the grossly excessive line. We're talking about assaulting the bastion of democracy. Thousands of TRUMPTARDS conspired to attack the Capitol, killed six people and threatened many others.
Many think their sentences weren't severe enough.

And they admitted it! They all said that trump ordered them to come to DC and they were following orders. They were planning their moves way ahead of time on far-right and conspiracy theory websites.

True. That's how many of them were tracked down later by police.

Only a complete moron thinks that the insurrectionists left #TRE45ON's speech, ran to the gun store and Home Depot, then returned with their weapons, restraints, hangman's noose and scaffold, in time to attack the Capitol.

It wasn't just a riot.

It was an attempt to thwart the American democratic process and violently deny the presidency to the legal and rightful winner of our nation's election

HE is going to say he will pardon them, because he thinks that works to his benefit. Who knows what he will do... he will decide what works to his benefit at the time.
 
I say anyone convicted of “insurrection” should remain in jail. I think your best shot at that was probably ray epps, but he was only given a year of probation.
 
Honestly, it would be a pretty dark day for America, and for justice.

Trump is taking us all down a very rough path. No regard for the rule of law, the Constitution or democracy.

We've seen how it goes for nations that give in to one man's ego over laws & principles.

Trump was president. He was the Commander-in-Chief. He swore to protect America from all enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC.
And when the Capitol was attacked, he sat around and did nothing but blame Pelosi.
Trump is unfit to be POTUS.
