Agreed. Anyone who took the oath should be treated as a traitor.

My understanding is that, even though, like other MAGAts on the scene, Epps helped incite others to act, he didn’t commit any violence nor go into Congress.

Fmr. Trump aide Matthews on January 6: It took hours for Trump to condemn the violence and after his closest advisers begged him, he reluctantly finally did. He was enjoying what was happening, he wanted to do everything he could to stay in power. That's why I resigned that day.

That's my understanding also. Mainly by all the testimony of Trump staffers in the 1/6 hearings.

Pardoning those who followed Trump's illegal orders has been his way of using the pardoning power. He was the first prez to pardon people who were in a plot that he was involved in. Trump used the pardoning power to protect himself. Trump has no respect for that power. It is a tool for his self-protection and nothing else.

Our vote is a sacred thing in this democracy, while it lasts. The idea that Trump will potentially pardon these criminals is chilling. He would be choosing loyalty to him over loyalty to America & the rule of law.

Which is why they are terrorists. Those who took the oath and attacked Congress are traitors. All should be treated accordingly. Like the terrorists of the 1960s, the FBI will never give up their hunt for these terrorists and/or traitors even if they eventually track them down in an old folks home. Each should face justice and do their time.
