Sounds like a Politician to me. Big deal.I started a thread about a hypocrite who is about to do something he said only guilty people do.

Bill Clinton was not in police custody and sleeping with Monica was not a crime so legally the 5th was not a legal option for him.
False, I attended and graduated from one and taught at another.
Correct. Hence the reason I did not suggest he should. I simply suggested he would have had less issues had he not lied.
On August 17, 1998, William Jefferson Clinton swore to tell the truth, the whole truth,
and nothing but the truth before a federal grand jury of the United States. Contrary to that
oath, William Jefferson Clinton willfully provided perjurious, false and misleading testimony
to the grand jury concerning one or more of the following: (1) the nature and details of
his relationship with a subordinate government employee; (2) prior perjurious, false and
misleading testimony he gave in a federal civil rights action brought against him; (3) prior
false and misleading statements he allowed his attorney to make to a federal judge in that
civil rights action; and (4) his corrupt efforts to infl uence the testimony of witnesses and to
impede the discovery of evidence in that civil rights action.
In doing this, William Jefferson Clinton has undermined the integrity of his offi ce, has
brought disrepute on the presidency, has betrayed his trust as president, and has acted in a
manner subversive

Ok, so do you now understand the difference between your Miranda right to remain silent while in police custody versus pleading the fifth in a civil case?
So now you are hiding from your initial suggestion that Bill Clinton should have remained silent?
I never suggested that. Your attempt to gaslight notwithstanding, talking about him lying and being chastised was not suggesting he be silent, it was suggesting he should have told the truth and he would not have been sanctioned and lost his license to practice law. Every time I speak with you about the law it makes me glad I have never hired you as an attorney.
As an attorney you know how inappropriate it is to suggest that simply remaining silent is an admission of guilt. I would recommend to anybody at all getting questioned by anybody with an objective to take them down to simply remain silent.
Again, you are conflating an investigation with a civil case. The only person who can't seem to grasp what is happening is the lawyer who has demonstrated a marked inability to explain why he cannot figure out why an attorney should not suggest guilt associates with silence during any investigation when he knows he would be chastised and possibly censured if he tried to bring that up in court.
And now I'm reading the thread to you again.... so...
I keep letting you draw me down to your level of ignorance in a battle of "wits" and you are trying to win through superior pretense and ignorance.
So. I will stay out of this thread from now on, let folks read what they will. You may say whatever makes you feel better about yourself. This time I will not be drawn back into the battle of ignorance.
