Illegals and the economy

LOL

You have control over all 3 branches of government and things are falling apart all around us.
It takes 60% of the Senate to pass the CR. Democrats are still voting against opening the government.
Militarization of police.
Police ARE military, Dumber. They always were. Don't attack them, and you won't get arrested.
ICE abuses.
ICE is military, Dumber. They always were. Don't attack them, and you won't get arrested.
Political prosecution.
Why do you Democrats keep trying this?
Food prices increasing.
The price of eggs is down. The price is beef is down. The price of chicken is down. While not food, the price of fuel is also down.
Tariffs on a temper tantrum.
Canada is doing just that. Why do you support Canada's actions?
SNAP halted.
DEMOCRATS.
Retribution on blue cities.
Good. You lawbreakers need to be all arrested and convicted.
Ignorant fucking cultist
Try English. It works better.

Everything I read said the opposite of long term vs short term effects. That illegals may create a short term local problem, but their presence is a long term boon to the economy.
Illegal aliens are not a boon to any economy. They are criminals. They are immediately subject to deportation.

I agree completely but I don't believe the answer in the meantime is to just allow anyone and everyone over the border. We could grant temporary work passes to legit people as you say, who want to work and have veritable addresses and sponsors.
Dumber is trying to justify illegal aliens as legit aliens.
Illegal aliens are not eligible for asylum or citizenship. They are immediately subject to deportation.

He is also trying to justify importing gang members and other criminals. He wants the illegal drugs to flow freely. He supports organized crime.

He is also trying to justify insurrection, rioting, violence, arson, and looting.

Democrats want their slaves, even if they have to import them.
Yes, but I have to acknowledge that far too many Republicans/conservatives have been on that side of the fence as well (including Marco Rubio who has apparently reversed course with Trump).

Democrats want their totally dependent voters, slaves in the worst sense, and were counting on ushering in so many illegals and giving them the ability to vote that Democrats would never lose another election ever again. I am so glad that Trump put the kabosh on that. Go ICE.

This morning, I did a little digging on the impact of undocumented immigrants and the economy. The consensus seems to be that they are not a drag on the economy. Quite the opposite. They are a net positive on their contribution to the economy. Or at least a push. Hard to find a solid number, so the estimates vary.

So, what’s the fucking problem? Why do we want to build huge detention centers to pull these people out of the workforce?

Oh, that’s right. To the fascist cultists, undocumenteds are the “them”. The enemy. The source of all our woes.
Then why have immigration laws?

Then why have immigration laws?
Look man, a first time offense is a misdemeanor and usually handled as a civil offense. Most of these people are here to escape really shitty and life threatening situations at home and are otherwise law abiding and working. And have families. All the information I can find says they’re a net positive for the economy.

So, I’ll reverse the question. What’s the point of constructing all these detention facilities to house these people and remove them from the economy? What’s the point of the abusive ICE raids we’re seeing almost daily? The abuse of due process

Enforce the immigration laws to their max when one of these people commits a real crime. Target employers, not employees. Target the fucks who traffic in these immigrants.

Look man, a first time offense is a misdemeanor and usually handled as a civil offense.
When people sneak into an amusement park without paying or even waiting in line, a first time offense still gets them "deported" from the park and usually handled as a civil offense.

Most of these people are here to escape really shitty and life threatening situations at home and are otherwise law abiding and working.
Most of these people are trying to sneak into the US just as people try to sneak into an amusement park to escape a shitty boring weekend.

And have families.
And they even have families.

All the information I can find says they’re a net positive for the economy.
All the information you are ignoring says they are crapping on the economy.

So, I’ll reverse the question.
So, you'll pivot ...

What’s the point of constructing all these detention facilities to house these people and remove them from the economy?
To protect the economy and to establish a process for removing the illegal immigrants from the country.

What’s the point of the abusive ICE raids we’re seeing almost daily?
To protect the economy and to establish a process for removing the illegal immigrants from the country.

The abuse of due process
The establishment of due process is not an abuse of due process.

Enforce the immigration laws to their max ...
That's what ICE is doing.

Target employers, not employees.
Nope. Target everyone who is breaking the law. Everyone. Restore the rule of law.

Target the fucks who traffic in these immigrants.
As well, yes.

Because the politics of hatred work on many voters.
In fact, Americans are having fewer children. We need immigration to grow. Our economy needs the workers and the new businesses.
Never heard anyone but you say we are UNDER populated. We cannot even feed our own people.

I really do not know. But they have not applied for special status.
Then do some homework and find out why.

The “special status” you refer to does not exist for them. They have no special skills or education that qualifies them. Most are low skill, low education who come here just to work. That’s it. And there’s a demand in this country for those people.

So, what to do? Make an avenue for their legal presence and citizenship which does not require that special status
