Here is the kick in the ass. The federal gobblement has a higher profit margin on student loans than does Exxon Mobil.

Whew, good thing the gobblement moved the student loans away from the banks. Kids would be getting ripped off left and right. I hope this negatively impacts every fucker that voted for Obama. Serves them right. Of course being low information scum, they will blame anyone but him.
 
How would it negatively affect anyone? It somehow hurts students to pay interest to the government instead of a bank? This is likely to lead to lower interest rates on student loans.

Fuck the banks. The government guarantees the loan and lends money to banks at favorable rates. They also administer the programs that find the borrowers. The banks provided absolutely nothing of value.

What we should do is raise taxes on the banks to recover the money they stole for years, reduce student loan interest and give some tax credits to those who paid student loan interest in the past
